As most of you know, "The Nation" referred to in the article is a Communist publication which advocates a violent overthrow of our government.

Come on Wordslinger. How much did you make your first check of for to the Bernie Sanders (S) Election Campaign?

Bernie Sanders is a good American and a good man. He is a bit idealistic, but in this time of cynicism and greed, he has been mostly correct.

As for being a good American...that doesn't go with the term Socialist or Communist. We became the greatest nation the world has ever seen because of freedom, liberty and CAPITALISM.

I like him a helluva lot better than Hillary, and much, much, better than "I really like Latinos, but I'm sorry now," T-Party Rubio, or "How could I have known that everybody on my team was helping shut down the bridge?" Christy, or "Restaurants really should be able to discriminate against African Americans," Rand Paul, "Or you all need to follow me to total self-immolation," Cruz, and your favorite from the last go-around, Herman "I paid that woman," Cain.

Yep, the same words I heard as a kid from George Wallace and from your privilege you assumed equality was a bad thing.....that states rights and the injustice of the same could supersede the constitution.........sorry the pendulum will swing back when the injustice of your perceived autocratic federal government can no longer be tolerated by the people, yet in every state folks are voting to restrict people's rights to vote, so Mr. Markle can argue and you can argue that progressive is a bad word, but compared to the Birmingham I knew it is a glorious word and one that Bernie Sanders represents......now sadly I do not agree with everything that Bernie espouses because he thinks that simple redistribution solves the problem....it does not, but for this time and this place the man does more good than harm.
