What if we all shifted a little more to the middle and........

As a Republican I can say this:

I like queen as a musical group. Talent knows no bounderies. Gay, color, political views, what ever. They were great.

I'm not against abortion. As long as my tax dollars aren't paying for it. Abort all you want.

Is that a start?

I think if that caught on, our politicians would be very worried, because that would make it very difficult to devide us against each other on agendas that dont really have much to do with running the country.

If the politicians didn't devide us in half, wouldn't they get more done for us? Things that we want done as a whole country. Not as two halves of a country.

I think the rich politicians have suceeded in the old tactic of devide and conquor.

Meanwhile they sit back and devide our tax money amongst their friends and anyone who donates the most money to their re-elections. And what do we get out of it? A traffic cam and a few sidewalks.

As long the media, the politicians, we ourselves and whoever else keep us so divided, we will continue to decline as a society and a country. That's as certain as death and taxes.
And right now that divide is growing.

They have turned the whole country in to another version of nothing more than the crips and bloods. I think they are the two biggest gangs in the US that just want to kill eachother. Red bandanas against blue bandanas. What's next, drive by shootings on eachother?

The problem clearly is the special interest group and big wheels who naturally want what's best for them, not best for us.

Secondly there is too much information pollution, opinion masquerading as information and people end up with their own facts instead of realizing they are only opinions based on propaganda and spin, again thanks to the special interests.
Until we can find and agree on a more direct source of information about what's going on we are doomed to stay divided.
