You got me thinking. If we can go back in time with genetic connections, is there a possible scientific trail to genesis? That got me thinking some more.....without getting to philosophical....what if our connection with God was a hard wired direct link which passed down through history of man as genetic code we have not yet understood. I then gave a name to this gene which was the God gene.......lo and behold a geneticist has written a book on the God gene when I googled what I was thinking, but in a different conceptual context than what your thread raised in my mind. The God gene looks at a real gene which tends to have those who have the same to be spiritual with a higher tendency to be religious which he argues in his book leads to a higher probability of spirituality.

That is extremely interesting and I will read more, but as we look back at genetic code of this infant with ties to Siberia, can we not find a starting point or commonality? If yes, then what if a very specific gene structure defines us, yet a creator left a back door which allows this higher power to manipulate the code much like a programer who creates an application which can be updated periodically. Also, like Chrissy I believe that creation concepts may run concurrently with evolution and both may have truths, but at some point these genetic codes will be able to replicate life. If we can regress 10k years can we go back to creation, or to the nexus of human evolution. I certainly do not have the answers, but this thread has me thinking.
