MADRID, February 4, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) –Topless Femen activists attacked the Archbishop of Madrid, Cardinal Antonio Rouco Varela, this past Sunday night as he got out of his car and tried to enter a Madrid parish to celebrate Mass. The activists blamed the cardinal for the Spanish government’s bill seeking to restrict abortion.

The feminists threw bloodstained underwear at the cardinal while pushing their bare breasts onto him and shouting “Abortion is sacred” and vulgarities.

He finds it perfectly acceptable for a religion or a government to restrict a woman's health choices, yet he finds offering that same woman choices in insurance products under the affordable care act to be big government socialism.......these concepts are diametrically opposed and have the rank smell of hypocrisy.

first, a religion an NOT restrict a womans choices. unless that religion is islam.

Facts are hard things to ignore lady and the fact is these people are morons much like yourself.

Abortion should not happen. However, the law of this country does not recognize cells in a woman as a child until a specific point in the gestation period. It is the law of the land. It once was the law of the land that it was illegal to sell birth control devices and a woman was restricted by government on her access to certain health care procedures. I think abortion should never be the choice, but do I want government dictating the health care choices of my daughter or granddaughters? No, and I find it incredibly ironic that those people who think there is too much government want to change the law and restrict birth control and abortion. They find no inconsistencies in their pick and choose political philosophy and have the nerve to suggest that government has overstepped its boundaries by offering Medicare or the affordable care act.

Abortion is a subject that should have been left to the states, not the Federal Government.

There are circumstances where I believe abortion is a necessary evil. However, using it as is being used in the vast majority of cases, as a method of birth control, is SICK.
