"The Republican Party took a pounding this election year. This was no surprise. It was a powerful message sent by the people of this country. After the humbling loss of several Republican seats, there seems to be a growing divide within the GOP, and it just might be a good thing. Part of the current Republican Party is still clinging to its own conjured up facts, while stuck in nonsensical delusions and idiocy that have been going on for too long. Another part of the Party however, is finally starting to wake up and refocus. Part of the GOP is finally taking responsibility for a party overtaken and pushed in the wrong extreme direction, and focusing on the future. Fair point pkr . . . . what will be telling is whether America will choose a party that stands on progressiveness in lieu of a party that has demonstrated a willingness to burn down the house (and close the government) to make their ideological points. The GOP agenda I see is very offensive and obnoxious generally.

In response to the election of 2008, the GOP brought in the crazies, a decision they're now ruing because of the fallout from said decision. Too bad...so sad.
