The U.S. and Canada are the world's new Saudi Arabia. I think we should form a cartel that influences geopollitics and gives everybody else big headaches.

Energy production is the one thing this country is currently doing right. Americans invented and perfected the technology to comercially extract oil and gas from underground shale formations. Other countries need this know-how; however what works here must be tailored so it works in other places. The Chinese have lots of shale oil and gas, too, but they don't know how to get it. Therefore they must bow to the whims of OPEC and import most of the oil they need. Suckers!

No.......he has been working to hurt energy production........funny how things work out Mr. Markle......maybe we can blame him for the increased pollution because of the success under his presidency.......yea thats the ticket......President Obama is polluting America as it reaches record oil production.  The man is winning on every front.  The American public is finally starting to gain some traction........maybe he will take a selfie in front of an oil rig..........

Oil production has soared in this country since January of 2009. He may have done nothing to help this, but he is certainly not standing in the way of it.

Cue the standard wingnut meme: "....He is not allowing production on federal lands, and all of the increases are happening on private lands..." That line is unsubstantiated baloney that cannot be proven, of course.
