Free speech is an important right, but just don't whine about what some people call Obama.

It was debated for over a year during the legislative process. We even had a LIVE, televised, day-long "healthcare summit" in which republican leaders met with democrats to ask questions and hammer this shit out. In fact, here it is:PACEDOG#1 wrote:Boards, had Congress been given time to peruse even 1/2 the bill there is no way it would have passed and you along with everyone else sucking Obama's gonads knows that.
It was shoved through without consideration on a weekend if I recollect properly without a second thought .

Obama even faced the republican house, on his own, live, on television, to give them a chance to generate any type of "gotcha" BS that they could imagine. In fact, here that is:

Then, after the usual legislative process, we saw republicans fight this legislation through the courts. Links to that entire process are available below:

After all that, republicans dove to the ground, and pounded and kicked the floor - whining like moronic fucking brats, and shutting down the government in the process.
And mind you, this is all the result of passing the republican "free market solution". Democrats have conceded this bullshit, after more than a decade of debate while fighting for universal, or single-payer healthcare. This is what makes this entire thread that much more laughable. Voters like PACEDOG are such idiots, they don't even realize that the policy they are fighting so vehemently against was created by their very own party, and was their very own party's side of the battle lines ten years ago.
We really need basic aptitude tests, and licenses for voting privileges at this point. This is often proposed in jest, but seriously.

Let's start by eliminating all the ones that have to rely on the government teat so they can sit at home and play their Xbox's instead of finding a job and really contributing to society and the economy... Like your buddy Sal.

With ObamaCare, the legislative process worked with bribes, payoffs and, most likely, blackmail. Well known fact, not speculation.boards of FL wrote:Do you have even the faintest grasp on how the legislative process works?PACEDOG#1 wrote:Has the ACA been debated in Congress like it should have been instead of rammed through without it bring read, your statement is absolute falsehood Dreams.
