Here are Palin's thoughts on our health care situation taken from an interview on the Today Show's interview by Matt Lauer.

Matt Lauer:  "What are we hearing from the Tea Party in terms of an absolute, realistic plan that can be an alternative to Obamacare?"
Without even thinking, Palin sprung into action:

Said Palin: "The plan is to allow those things that had been proposed over many years to reform a health-care system in America that certainly does need more help so that there's more competition, there's less tort reform threat, there's less trajectory of the cost increases, and those plans have been proposed over and over again. And what thwarts those plans? It's the far left. It's President Obama and his supporters who will not allow the Republicans to usher in free market, patient-centered, doctor-patient relationship links to reform health care."

People need to remember that the website is not health care reform nor is it actual medical treatment. It is a website. Sure, it is totally ironic bordering on comical that the most comprehensive reform of the health care system was successfully passed during the administration of the most technologically astute groups of people to ever inhabit the White House and it hit the road with a snafu the size of Texas because of the IT mess up.

Given that, it in itself is not the PPACA.

I predict in two years this seemingly huge fubar will be a distant memory and most people will be experiencing the benefits of the reform.

In two years it will have collapsed. The facts about small employers will become known and they be getting dropped and faced with higher rates and higher deductible as will large businesses.

EVEN the Democrats are running from this train wreck and it is obvious President Barack Hussein Obama intentionally deceived the voters and would never have won the primaries had he been honest.

Given that it's been over three years since this legislation passed it tells us how 'technologically astute' these people you admire really are considering their ineptness in creating a simple web site for their grand health care plan.

I know teenagers who are more technologically astute.

Left out by the DailyKOS was that Former Governor Sarah Palin ate Matt Lauer's lunch.

What I can't figure out is why the Former Governor scares the pants off Progressives.

Here's another view of the ACA status, old policies, etc.

No, Obama Didn't Lie to You About Your Health Care Plans
The claim that President Obama lied in saying that people could keep their insurance looks like another Fox News special.
November 13, 2013  |

President Obama has been getting a lot of grief in the last few weeks over his pledge that with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in place, people would be able to keep their insurance if they like it. The media have been filled with stories about people across the country who are having their insurance policies terminated, ostensibly because they did not meet the requirements of the ACA. While this has led many to say that Obama was lying, there is much less here than meets the eye.

First, it is important to note that the ACA grand-fathered all the individual policies that were in place at the time the law was enacted. This means that the plans in effect at the time that President Obama was pushing the bill could still be offered even if they did not meet all the standards laid out in the ACA.

The plans being terminated because they don't meet the minimal standards were all plans that insurers introduced after the passage of the ACA. Insurers introduced these plans knowing that they would not meet the standards that would come into effect in 2014. Insurers may not have informed their clients at the time they sold these plans that they would not be available after 2014 because they had designed a plan that did not comply with the ACA.

However if the insurers didn't tell their clients that the new plans would only be available for a short period of time, the blame would seem to rest with the insurance companies, not the ACA. After all, President Obama did not promise people that he would keep insurers from developing new plans that will not comply with the provisions of the ACA.

In addition to the new plans that were created that did not comply with the terms of the ACA, there have been complaints that the grandfathering was too strict. For example, insurers can only raise their premiums or deductibles by a small amount above the rate of medical inflation. As a result, many of the plans in existence at the time of the ACA are losing their grandfathered status.

My curiosity continues. Why does former Governor Sarah Palin scare the pants off Progressives?

Chaos is raining down everywhere about ObamaCare's fraud and corruption along with Benghazi, the IRS, Fast and Furious and who do the Progressives want to discuss?  Former Governor Sarah Palin.

Key players in ObamaCare are interviewed, one after the other, on Fox News and the Progressives refuse to learn and then wonder why their world is falling apart all around them.

Go figure!

Z called it correctly, the Frightwing! Chaos rules the fright wing bubble. Tempest in a Teapot comes to mind as this wounded wing of a formerly great political party continues to grasp at one thing after another to try and undermine, discount, de-legitimize, and damage this administration. Palin is a self appointed spokesperson for the Frightwing if there ever was one. She personifies their thinking or lack thereof.

The previous health care delivery system was unsustainable. The PPACA needs improvement but instead of working to make needed changes the GOP continues to be the party of hell NO, which is exactly what the American public is so sick of: bickering and whining without any real solutions being offered.
