As reported by the Washington Examiner in early October, the Department of Health and Human Services reviewed only CGI’s bid for the Obamacare account. CGI was one of 16 companies qualified under the Bush administration to provide certain tech services to the federal government. A senior vice president for the company testified this week before The House Committee on Energy and Commerce that four companies submitted bids, but did not name those companies or explain why only CGI’s bid was considered.
On the government end, constructionMichelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is executive at company that built Obamacare website Icon1 of the disastrous Healthcare.gov website was overseen by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a division of longtime failed website-builder Kathleen Sebelius’ Department of Health and Human Services.
Update: The Daily Caller repeatedly contacted CGI Federal for comment. After publication of this article, the company responded that there would be “nothing coming out of CGI for the record or otherwise today.” The company did however insist that The Daily Caller include a reference to vice president Cheryl Campbell’s House testimony. This has been included as a courtesy to the company.

by golly that is an association which deserves scrutiny......Michelle went to Princeton with another Princeton graduate who won a bid.......clearly some impressive investigative work. How about some meat on those bones. Let us figure out who is responsible for the SNAFU, and then connect the dots. I do think there is some fire where there is smoke. There certainly is some smoke here, but we need real connections which are neither remote or happen stance. It does appear to be quid pro quo. Need more info. Most companies who bid make contributions to both sides.....they cover their bases.

I think all you need to do is look at the news source for this piece...

“…The Daily caller is a politically conservative news and opinion website based in Washington, D.C., United States. Founded by Tucker Carlson, a libertarian conservative political pundit, and Neil Patel, former adviser to former Vice President Dick Cheney….”

They didn't win the bid, as there were no other bids even considered.

I said the other day that I don't necessarily think all no bid contracts are bad. But when there is a no bid contract awarded, when there were other companies who were interested in the job, and the company that was chosen is a total screw up...then there IS a problem.   Someone needs to answer as to why this was awarded to this particular company and why they screwed up so badly and that is the case regardless of whether y'all like the source I posted.

Remember WAY back when Progressives were screaming bloody murder about Halliburton getting no bid contracts for work in Iraq and Afghanistan? All contrary to the Progressives claims that Vice President Dick Cheney had no financial interest in the success or failure of the company. (There are no American companies largest enough to have handled that work) President Barack Hussein Obama has also given them no bid contract.

Now, suddenly, the same Progressives are humming and looking the other way when a NO BID CONTRACT was given to the company of a close friend of Michelle Obama.

NOW we are having to hire, at the cost of hundreds of millions more, MORE experts to FIX the massive train wreck aka ObamaCare.

So we're hiring someone ELSE to fix the problem but NO ONE is getting fired, no one is losing their jobs over this massive boondoggle.

But then, no one in this administration has been held accountable for ANYTHING. As we know, that's an effective management technique telling everyone that no one will be held accountable for screw ups...so long as you're fairly high in the food chain.

What is President Obama doing to solve this problem...and the other massive scandals going on in the Oval Office? Why, get OUT of the Oval Office. The buck never got there!

I am not sure that attending the same university is a lie. I do not know all the facts, but certainly the fact that somebody went to the same university alone does not establish a thing as to why this contractor was selected. There needs to be more proof of wrongdoing. The failure of this contractor is noted and truthful. The criteria for selection is still unknown. Corruption in contract selection on both sides of the aisle should be aggressively attacked as inappropriate.

"Hmm, everybody was wondering how a Canadian based company, CGI Federal, and not a US based one received the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare website,Hhealthcare.gov. So how did CGI, the company behind ObamaCare site, with such a checkered past of failure and not meeting project goal expectations get this contract? As The Daily Caller reports, maybe CGI got the “no bid” contract because Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate, Toni Townes-Whitley, is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website. Also, George Schindler, the president of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract. Yup. no quid pro quo or cronyism here, EH?"

How amusing, you certainly didn't feel that way about Halliburton and Dick Cheney!

All true. CGI was FIRED by Canada for their short comings and we hire them a year later. Obviously no one could find a web site development company in America with the ability to develop large capacity sites....
