Just curious.

Do you really want America to be more like Europe?

Europe and Canada have pretty good health care. So to the extent we can catch up with the rest of the world in health care and go to a single payer medicaid for all.....sure a bit more like civilized nations is not a bad step, as long as we can keep our boogeymen in the closet.....we should be fine.

Is that why when their life is in the line they come here and PAY for the best?

Keep believing the fantasy. Steve Jobs traveled to Europe for treatment. I was facing the same decision. Europe is doing some amazing stuff with drug development and treatment for endocrine cancer. Yes, people go to different countries for treatment, and Americans sadly are traveling to other countries for quality and cost considerations. Unheard of 20 years ago, yet double digit unchecked medical inflation has out priced average Americans, and even one of the richest men in the world could not get the care he needed here.

is that why jobs had his liver transplant in America? hmmmm

This thread isn't just about healthcare btw.....

I guess people don't want to speak up and admit it. or maybe somehow they think we can do all the same things Europe has done and miraculously end up with a different result lol << they have a name for that Wink

anyway, im very tired tonight.

Im still curious about this question and would appreciate a honest answer from those whom speak.

and itchi.... hehe TY
