Mindlessly Gutting Food stamps

The falsehood that cutting food stamps is about saving government money is evident when the House plans rich increases in crop insurance subsidies for farmers. Representative Stephen Fincher of Tennessee, a Tea Party favorite who wants food stamps cut, collected nearly $3.5 million in government farm subsidies from 1999 to 2012. Yet he declared in a debate over food stamps, “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”

The Republicans play up a few abusers of the program to mask the central fact of their plan: the tens of millions of Americans who rely on food stamps are children, the disabled, the elderly and low-wage families. For their sake, Congress should reject the Cantor proposal as the national embarrassment it plainly is.

Republicans want to stop late term abortion funding, women can now be raped by hunchbacked chimpanzees  with aids and will have to carry the baby to term. Just one step from outlawing all abortions and ruining women's futures...crying wolf no... crying Godzilla ! yes...very boring and becoming quite ineffective.

The The Tea party wants those cuts. How lovely for the poor children. Can you live w/ that while small children don't get enough to eat?

Your answer would be the all powerful tea party boogeyman, my answer is because some in Washington think we are out of our minds in spending and Obamacare is both not ready and far to expensive to implement...cooler minds are trying to prevail but of course the zombie cheerleaders like your self are screaming the tea party is attacking Tokyo....

food stamps are out of control. too many on them.

I can see the left must have clear directives from the top.

we want free healthcare for all

we want more money for foodstamps

we want 12 million illegals to become citizens so we can also give them free healthcare and foodstamps and over load the system(while they vote for those freebies).
