I can just hear the outcry from the wingnuts if the monuments were left open and unattended, and some fringe group defaced, or better yet, blew up a few of them.

You do function with a total lack of common sense don't you. For some reason, that is a common characteristic of Progressives.

The monuments, museums and parks were attended just as they are every other day.

Another difference is that President William Jefferson Clinton remained in Washington and met with the leaders of both parties on a regular basis.

Instead of being a strong leader, President Barack Hussein Obama does the only thing he does well, goes on the campaign trail in order to have his ego stroked by carefully chosen lemmings.

We have plenty of income to cover the majority of our expenses. Not all. It is President Barack Hussein Obama's intent to inflict as much pain as possible on as many citizens as possible. To him, that is easier than trying to negotiate. Something which President Obama has no experience in doing.
