This morning I have noticed several instances where I get a Spanish language commercial popup (audio only) with no indication of where it came from. Anyone else notice this?

I just called him to offer some help but he's tied up with car trouble so it might be a while before he can respond.

My thought is he gotten a spyware cootie or trojan or something and he can probably correct it with system restore and take the system back to before the crap infected him. Do you think that's a solution? If so then I'll help him through the system restore when he gets freed up.
The reason I suggest this is I've experienced similiar stuff and used system restore to get shed of it.

System Restore is a good option if it hasn't been too long since he created a restore point. It doesn't hurt do do one every once and a while. My system is running great right now, so I think I'll create a restore point.
