I live in Milton and stopped in at the post office on Dogwood Dr. to mail one small package, 20+ in line. Returning later, 25+.

I drove to Bagdad and there was no one in line at all. Bingo, mailed the package and was done. Just thought I'd share the idea of going to a PO in a small town as a way of saving time in line.

I'm curious how much time and gas was wasted in going to one post office twice, then driving to another town to go to yet another post office.

Sounds like the Bagdad post office is one that should be closed.

But, if that's what floats your boat, I'm happy you found a short line.

The stops to the Dogwood PO were on my way to and from other errands. I am glad to see you are concerned about fuel efficiency.
