I cannot accept that Susan Rice could not remember all the details of the 1998 raids on our African Embassies.......she was talking to Senator Collins from Maine to determine why the talking points on Sunday shows were so wrong on detail......but she talks about the African embassy attacks when Susan Rice was in State........I am stunned.

First, I always thought Senator Collins was a very smart and capable moderate Republican. She is one of the sane Republicans I once admired. This interview on Greta simply has me befuddled. She either sees an opportunity in 2016, and has decided that she will take the lead in making trouble for Rice, and doing what Newt has mastered which is Machivellian leverage of stupid, or Susan Rice really is a dullard. I am going to wait and decide, but Senator Collins a woman, a moderate, from the Northeast could be a viable candidate to run against Hillary. Keep an eye on her.......she either has lost her mind.....or she is getting the Newt thing down pretty good.

Part of Susan Rice's responsibilities when she was in North Africa was the security of our Embassies. Here again, more security was requested, it was denied and our Embassies were attacked and Americans were killed. That is NOT something you forget.... Unless, of course, she is covering up something there too.

Susan Rice is not a dullard by any means. She has an impressive resume and family resume.Rhodes scholar, doctorate in philosophy. She is also married to a white Canadian and has two very white children so there is no racial stuff going on there either. She's worth about 25 million.

No I agree, she probably is not a dullard, and certainly when I watched her talk on meet the press and talk about the demonstrations in Egypt.......well I heard the president, and understood it was a terrorist attack.....but her performance on the meet the press was not her best. I understand being handed bad intelligence, but I do not understand her not using the words terrorist when she talked on meet the press......to that extent I think the criticism is valid.......I doubt it was some sinister cabal who hatched a plan to convince America that terrorist did not attack......hardly....just some more less than stellar presentation.......if everybody on meet the press used the word terrorist.....the president would still be elected.....you see the same logic that thinks her statements would impact the election is the same logic which had all the Republican polls off 9% which is way above the margin of error......the assumptions were utterly wrong.....just like this entire Susan Rice discussion.

And who decides if they get more security? Do you even know?

...and she is an absolute failure as a career politician in protecting American people and assets overseas.

From your own article:

In the days after the assault, U.S. administration officials offered conflicting assessments on what may have led to the fatal security breach. Senior State Department officials have maintained that despite significant improvements to security at the post over the past several months, the security personnel in Benghazi were outmanned by several dozen heavily armed extremists during the attack and that no reasonable security presence could have fended off the sustained assault the consulate faced.

The point from above was who made the decisions... is that paragraph all that seemed important to you?

Requests were denied and in fact security was cut including the month prior to 9/11... while the british and red cross evacuated.

The responsibility of the State Department.

So blame it on Hillary Clinton. You all are so desperate to blame someone.

We will never know because the forces were not in place nor were they even allowed to try and help.

So you wanted more people to die? That makes a lot of sense.
