Current track looks a little better for us (farther west) -- but then, so did Sally at this point.  Keeping close watch, but we will not evacuate.

Zeta is expected to make landfall as a Category 2, with sustained winds of 105 mph.

Hurricane Zeta is approaching landfall. Here's the latest information on Zeta. Peak impacts will begin around 7-8PM and continue overnight until 2-3AM (account for wiggle room in this forecast). Tropical storm warning for NW FL means T.S. force winds (39mph+) possible during that time frame. Gusts 50-60mph possible. We're also watching for 2-4' storm surge on the east side of the system at NW FL area beaches. A SLIGHT RISK (2/5) for severe weather is posted for our area this afternoon & tonight for tornadoes. A few are possible tonight too.

A cold front washes through Thursday morning behind Zeta. Highs into the upper-70s and clearing conditions. Breeze continues (15-25mph out of the WNW). Comfortable air and highs in the low/mid 70s Friday-weekend for Halloween and the last days of the fair. Lows in the 50s.
