time is slowing down and I become just a little weaker and quite comfortable on the pain medications. I am forcing ensure and prune juice down. Very comfortable but cannot type, read, or listen with any skill level. Oh well I am stillalive.

Thanks, Sea, for checking in.  It's a relief to know you're comfortable on the pain meds.   And it may've taken a lot of effort but your post looked just fine.

Have also been wondering:  Do you find yourself still interested in watching news, even if your concentration isn't the greatest?

Just went back to Sea's first post creating this thread, and it was from January 26, 2018, and the docs were talking three to six months.  So much for that!  Guess they didn't really know our Seaoat.

At the time, Sea said, "It has been an amazing journey, and I have never been happier in my life as this dying thing has not been as bad as I thought when this battle began."

Have to wonder now, when Sea speaks of his "own private hell," whether that rosy outlook still applies.  Seems one would have to be a superman to still feel that way -- but then, one never knows with our Seaoat.

Mr. Oats, I have no words except to say how proud I feel to have crossed paths with you, you are no doubt an exceptional individual in so many ways and like others have previously stated I only regret not knowing you personally.  I wish you a painless trip on your next journey but thank you so much for letting us in on aspects of your life on this forum . . . .

got very short of breathing sat night and spent the night holding my wife's hand. I will try to check in but this is difficult.

Sea, I'm sure your fellow forum members are all very sorry for your travails. We'll be more than grateful if you do keep checking in as and when you're able.

Because we care, we'll worry and fret in the interim, but that's our problem, not yours. You just take care of yourself and your own needs to the best of your ability at this point, OK?

Sounds as if you're seeing them again this weekend - that's great.

I got to see their trophies after winning a league with almost 18teams.
they all beong to the same girl scount troop and they all made contributions today they made more slime and visited the wildlife rescue farm to see the ducks they have saved. softball next week. I prefer bb. my sil played with granderson and really wished he had boys who played baseball. The girls will play up to high school softball, but they will run track........you cannot coach speed and right now and can tell you in the one and two hundred races they will be conference champs, high jump long jump and all the dashes to 1--

My oldest daughter also played softball and ran track. Unfortunately, she injured herself at softball practice running on wet grass...quadricep was stretched, which put her out of both sports. I think Sal knows what that's like.

Justifiably proud grandpa!!!!!!

And softball is a game they can play all through their adult life, if desired. Lots of women's teams play in national championships in Pensacola every spring.

No pain, but I can no longer move without assistance. I have not had a bowel ovement in five days, no strethgth, but I have the grandkids here talking with me at the end. What a bessing. this battle has been worth the pain, and the loys of living are just too great. I have no hunger and will go back to sleep. i am sorry to share such grim news, but I promised from start to end of the dying process and I am thankful my fingers worked.
