Seth Curry 2 year deal w Portland... probably 4 seed ahead of la. Boogie Cousins to gsw... just wow.

He's likely still rehabbing Achilles... but still.

Cousins could possibly create the first NBA team which has an all star at every starting position. Nobody is going to unseat this team. I see them winning three of the next four championships. Cousins will not be in any hurry and the warriors are so deep that they will not rush his rehab, but the man lost for years with the Kings and people criticized his attitude. He is a perfect fit for the warriors. Rebounding, solid defense, and a pretty good three point shot......there probably has never been a better team in the NBA which is a huge plus for management and coach Kerr. People are having fun playing good team ball sharing the ball unselfishly and playing defense. It is not by accident. It is a matter of intelligence, and the warriors are simply the most intelligent team in the league. James will never sniff another ring, let alone a final as he no longer plays in the D league in the east. The James hype will disappear when he is buried in Western talent and his lakers are rendered irrelevant like he has become.

As I have argued for five years, nobody wants to play with a ball hogging, stat grabbing, no defense player. First, it was bosh, then it was Kyrie, now it is Paul George, and as reported today Leonard does not want to play with him. When your contemporaries do not want to play with you, and no team can win with him, then he has made a horrible decision to leave Cleveland. He will not make the playoffs this year.

Not real happy with Jimmy Butler wanting to play with Irving. I would rather have had Irving come to the timberwolves. He is a smart kid and realizes the drought in NY would make them heroes.

Tony Parker to Hornets... hmmm. Didn't see that coming. I wonder if that was a condition for Leonard to stay.

Yep... but it still surprised me. I've heard that he was very critical of Leonard. So maybe they considered him toxic. Pop doesn't put up w much bs... even from a veteran. He signed a 2 year deal for 10 mil.

At least the bulls lead the league at something. It's amazing how bad their decisions are. Coincidence?

I hope they trade valentine soon.

The Bulls have the worst management team in the NBA. They took Doug McDermott with I believe the seventh pick, and four years later he is a defensive liability which was given away. Niko was top 15, and he demanded to get the hell out of the chaos, and now they take a top all star and trade him for Dunn. Dunn is now getting paid more than Butler......they just did not want Butler telling the world that Gar and Paxson do not have a clue what they are doing, and Fred is the most incompetent coach in the NBA. He should have stayed in the college game.......they have mismanaged the talent and are making a windfall on their payroll while the bulls continue to lead the league almost in revenues from mediocre teams which now can be sold as rebuilding.

Not basketball but My Gabby won the Junior Angler Billfish Tournament. She won with Dolphin and her first Marlin ( tag and release).

The were out for 3 days on the 68' Click Through. She loves fishing. It is routine to be thrown off the dock when you catch your first Marlin....and she was. She interviewed with Dan Shugart and did great. So proud.

Number 2 grandson and my son were in Jacksonville for a baseball tournament. They did do so good. But it was fun for them.

What a pretty girl. I find that girls who participate in sports have a lifetime of skills which will help them in the business world. I loved coaching girl's basketball much more than boys because boys who have some talent tend to be cocky and lazy. Where girls with some talent have much better work ethics to improve their game. Fishing traditions are so sweet. She will be telling her great grandchildren about her catch in the next century, and so life goes, handing down all those traditions which make life so exciting and fulfilling. I cannot wait to hear about her high school career.

I coached 8th grade boys basketball. Never again! Lazy as hell. I coached with my sister and we would play against the boys to scrimmage. We beat them every time. Occasionally, my 8th grade girl would play with us. The boys were too lazy to care. They did win a few games but oh my!

My girls are all very pretty and straight A students. Maddy is number 2 in her freshman class of 419.

What a wonderful support system for her to excel. If I make it to the winter, I want to be given an update. I wish I had that support system as a child, but with my father's death, not so much. I also, coached eighth grade boys, and it may be the age, but Lazy is the word.

I am thankful for my family. The grandchildren are all close and encourage each other. I went to Maddy's first high school basketball game and a couple asked me which of the ones around me was my family. I proudly pointed and said, "the first six rows in this section." We were all there.

I have been working with the 2 1/2 yo on swimming. She swims with her floaties on, head down and kicking. This week she is swimming without the floaties. She jumps off the diving board and swims to the ladder. All under my supervision. She and the other kids are so proud.

Awww... that's awesome. I've been teaching my 11 y/o to ride a motorcycle. He's very cautious but it's exciting for him. I'm so hoping that my brother and his family move up here. There are two boys and I'd get to watch them play sports through high school. The younger one is 8 and very fast. He's already been winning track and distance races. The older likes tennis and golf. I don't care what they play tho... I drove across the state to watch a competitive cheer tournament... lol. Awful day... I was so confused... there was crying. Anyway... 50/50 they move here.

Hope they move close so you can enjoy their activities. It is very important for family to support a child in their activities. That foundation of stability and love will be the foundation upon which they build their life. Family input is so important, and after my dad died, my uncle became very important in my life, and it was great to share time with him.

I must be nuts, but I do not think the Lakers are going to make the playoffs next year. I think the Suns and Dallas are better them right now, and Denver who just missed the playoffs is much better. I would like to know which of the current west playoff teams are going to drop out and make room for LA. It will not happen. The whole sports mega business depends on churning bs stories, and this Laker being the number two team.....insanity.

We'll see... I'd be very surprised if lebron can't get into the playoffs. I don't see them top 3... unlikely a 4 seed.

5 or 6 is my guess.

The rumor now is that pop is sending Kawhi to Toronto against his will... lol. Kawhi wanted to go to LA... but is sent to Canada... lmao. I bet he'll refuse and sit out if traded anyplace that he doesn't want to go.

The worst part is the Canadian tax........but the best part is the Spurs once again proved why they have been the best basketball organization over the last twenty years. They picked the pocket of Toronto, but I like green so it may prove to be a win for Toronto.

I think it was a terrible trade for Toronto. Leonard for one year and he doesn't want to be there.

I doubt he even plays 50 or 60 games. We saw what he did during the playoffs this year.
