And Bill Maher, the liberal comedian who had donated $1 million to a “superPAC” backing Mr. Obama, joked: “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter.”

James Carville...Chris Matthews....David Axelrod...etc., are all comedians attempting to explain the debate performance....one of the best was Carville who said...The COWH wanted to have a conversation and Mitt Romney brought a chainsaw...

Romney did bring a chainsaw to the debate. He proved without a doubt that he was an asshole-extraordinaire. Apparently his daddy, Big George, didn't teach his son any tact when he was growing up.

Romney really didn't want to debate last night; he wanted instead to command the venue and drown out all messages but his own. That is why he kept rudely overtalking the moderator and interjecting his own agenda instead of following the moderated one. Plus, he used doubletalk the whole evening--you can't really put any finger on what he stands for because of all of the doublespeak.

Sociopaths are just very focused and goal oriented. He lies and changes position and just is seamless moving between the truth and fantasy. Sociopaths are not necessarily criminals. Many of the worlds leading dictators or business executives have achieved great success with a sociopath personality. I have a business partner who is a classic sociopath. A bully as a child. A person who was incredibly selfish and would never follow rules. Many sociopaths easily get into drugs and alcohol, and those who do not often find great success in business. They are classic work addicted, and often have distant relations with their families.....Romney is close with his family, he does not abuse drugs, but he has taken this personality disorder and built success. My partner is just the hardest worker, and he will try any method including cheating to not pay taxes, he always is getting audited on Workman comp where he has cheated, and he fights over every dime a sub contractor makes, and he is unable to socialize in a normal card game, party, or other standard social interactions. He is a one dimensional dollar machine. They can function in society, and the two I know in business are extremely successful, but to have these folks as president of the United States......yes Ann Romney has warned us about her husband's emotional state, and his manic debate presence where all facts were pretty much obliterated, will be followed by deep anxiety and depression......the person who we saw the weeks before the debate is just as much a part of the disorder as the manic success of the debate. This man is sadly going to lose the election, and I share his wife's concerns.....but I hope I do not take these worries into the White House. I play poker. I win through observations. I am not always right, but it is simple probabilities and I would suggest that most other thinking Americans know who is sitting at the table.

Come on, virtually every left wing Progressive radio or TV personality are jumping off cliffs. And all you can do is whine.

Face it, without a teleprompter and a prepared script, President Barack Hussein Obama is an amateur public speaker at best. I would wager that without notes, or teleprompter, I'm a far better speaker than is Obama.

In all fairness to Obama, it's hard to debate a shape-shifter.

Earlier in the campaign, there was a running joke to the effect that Obama wouldn't need to show up at the debates because Mitt could debate himself with his numerous flip-flops.

In a sense, that's exactly what happened. Mitt changed positions or lied about every policy stance he's taken. Obama seemed happy to lay low and let him do so. Now, Willard's performance can be dissected and examined for the fallacy it is to its very core.

It is not Romney's fault that he made more sense than the COWH. Obama has the debate skills of a middle schooler. Quit being the hater.

People devoid of real, internal emotions are not all killers. I've worked with many sociopaths and like many disorders, there are varying degrees of dysfunction. Sociopaths are good at faking like they are normal people...that's why it is so hard to identify them.

Government, for some reason, attracts a lot of them...at all levels, not just the politician at the top. I think the Peter Principal brings out the worst in those who realize they may be over their head and, perhaps, it's the idea that killing other's careers at a lower level will garner advancement and recognition from the guy/gal at the top....usually works too.

But they wouldn't be sociopaths. There are clear criteria for that. There are other disorders w/ similar characteristics but to be a sociopath you either are or aren't.
