Half Time score: UWF-31/Miss S&T-20
UWF rolled over S&T for the first 20 minutes of the game, with the score being 24-0 five-minutes or so into the 2nd Qtr. S&T began making adjustments and a couple of big plays to score 20 points in the last 10 minutes of the 2nd Qtr.
We'll see how the 2nd Half goes. One team will likely break out.
It has been interesting watching this level of play. Both teams have made mistakes that a Division I opponent would use to crush them thoroughly. Still, win or lose, Coach Shinnick is building a team that will become better over time. The players are motivated, and the fans are in love with them.
They did a good job turning the baseball field into a football field. The Blue Wahoos are in the playoffs at an away game tonight, and if they win, the football field needs to be changed back to a baseball field by tomorrow evening.
