They did act stupidly. They arrested him for disorderly conduct in a public place and he was in his home.

When you have a broken criminal justice system, it most certainly was the President's business.  I think the point being missed is that America has simply become a nation of scardy cats where people hide in their homes and accept a police state......how about knowing your fricking neighbors, and how about this novel idea.......have the gonads to go outside and ask the person going into their own home who they are.......who knows......you might actually meet your neighbor.
