Who would ever think President Obama could achieve so much after this country's economy was driven into the ditch.

Exports always drop when the dollar gets this strong. The dollar gets strong when oil and our former huge imports drops to near nothing, and for awhile we were a net exporter of oil. No, all the pundits who talked of a collapse of the dollar as the world currency have found out that America may have a cold, but others have pneumonia, and the relative strength of the dollar is the most stable economic factor in the world today, as foreign money is still being put in dollars for protection and insurance. The America economy continues to shine under President Obama which is now entering the eighth year of his turnaround success.

I can only guess at your point here since you aren't capable of communicating your own subjective beliefs.   Are you trying to say that exports trump the unemployment rate in terms of level of importance?

And I realize that even "yes" or "no" answers are beyond your communication skill set; so if the answer is "yes", just reply with another unrelated link about some other subject area.  If the answer is "no", run away.

It's a factor... an economic indicator... one of many when taking an objective look at the big picture. Lol... what a sad commentary it is that this would need to be explained to you... or that it offends your delicate sensibilities. What a punk.

I never said it wasn't a factor, so I have no idea why you felt the need to tell me that it is.

Let's try this again.  PkrBum, do you think that exports are a data point that is even remotely as significant as the unemployment rate?  The subject of discussion here is Employment Situation report that was released today.  The unemployment rate is now below 5%.  Your entry into this discussion is an article about exports; hence my question.

And your answer is?

I'll even write the beginning for you.  Think of this like you're learning to ride a bike, and I'm the training wheels.  All you have to do is fill in the blank.

"The unemployment rate fell below 5% in January; however, exports fell in 2015, therefore ____________________."

I mean, unless you're a complete idiot, it would seem that you would at least be able to communicate some idea that relates to this thread, wouldn't it?
