In baseball, the weakest and most useless player is in left field, Is it the same in politics?

A very good analogy. Except, you failed to fill in the box score. The starter gave up 18 runs in four innings, and the coach called up the bullpen to bring the young thrower in because the game was already lost, and maybe the kid could gain some experience to win the next game in relief. He gave up three runs in the fifth and has basically held them scoreless until the ninth when he gave up a couple more. The home team Lost 23-0......almost a football score....and maybe the QB was needed, but again the box score indicates the starter lost the game, and the rookie has a terrible ERA. However, the team is stronger and the kid pitched three good innings in relief which held them scoreless and may bode well for the next game.................but somebody may have the common sense to ask......how can either pitcher win.........if the team cannot produce runs in support of the pitcher? I wonder where Congress figures in this.........I would say Congress is batting .120 and they have been on steroids so long that they are suffering from atrophy.
