There are quite a few variables they didn't consider... like our solar system orbits remaining stable. That may not remain... as we've been able to determine observing other systems. Some think even our planets aren't in their original order.

I'll settle for it lasting as long as it takes for the lymphoma to kill me.  After that I won't know anything about it.  Plus I can't do anything to change it anyway.
So why spend the few years I have left fretting over it.
Although I realize those of you who have children and grandchildren will have a different perspective.
