I used to allow the grandkids to wade into the river and look for clam shells, but I am hearing way too much about these deaths, and after we lost the German Shepard my daughter at first thought it might be this because the dog loved to swim in the river.

um did anyone read this whole thing. the damn water treatment facility said it ran low on chlorine. This is a blatant public safety hazard and they should be fired. But here they are talking like nothing to it, oh well they just ran low.

I wouldn't get to paranoid if I was you. there have only been about 130 cases of this in almost a 100 years. you have a better chance of getting struck and fried by lightening.

but if you feel the need to be scared to death by this scary brain eating amoeba, be my guest. That's what the media and science is here for. Smile
