The more I read about this guy, the more he smells of being a Neocon.....

Note that his meeting was closed to the press. He may not be a neocon, but he sure as hell has no business sticking his nose into foreign policy. Yeah, he's just sending out signals all over the place. I think this guy leaves a slime trail when he moves.

He showed his ignorance of the most basic cultural and political situations no matter which country he was in or who he was speaking to.

I mean who doesn't know that the status of Jerusalem is a hot topic or that you just don't say things like, well, these people just have an inferior culture, that's why they aren't doing so well (big paraphrase there but you all know which comment he made that I'm referring to).

This gaff trip points out several things about Romney and his campaign. First it shows a general ignorance of anything outside of his personal experience in the world of finance; second it shows poor preparation and research regarding the cultures and histories of the countries he's visiting; third it shows poor choices on his part for not hiring advisors who have more sense than he does to keep him from saying stupid things.

Sadly I hear that the comments he made reflected badly on us as a country even though he doesn't hold an elected office at the moment and isn't speaking for anyone but himself.
