ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Members of World Changers of Florida will be allowed to passively distribute Bibles to students at Orange County schools.
Passive distribution means the group cannot have contact or speak with students.
The Bibles will be placed on an unattended table on campuses for students to take, if they want one.
The Florida Family Policy Council supports the idea, saying the Bible is the foundation of our national believes.
A Florida Civil Rights Association spokesperson says schools should focus on education and that religious issues should be addressed at home.
Should religious books be offered in public schools?
