IMHO it makes absolutely no sense for Bloomberg to be jumping in at this juncture. And that's even IF he were a popular persona.

Oh I don't know. Maybe those that keep bitching and moaning about Warren and Bernie may be getting just what they wished for if Bloomberg wins the nomination. I'll be voting for whoever or whatever wins the nomination, including Bloomberg but not Putin's left hand puppet Gabbard. You can almost smell the crap in Don Boy's pants after Bloomberg announced his intentions.

Fuck Bloomberg. He'll cause chaos for a couple months then get his feelings hurt when his ego's not appeased, then he'll slink away like the slime he is. I don't think it'll amount to much.

I'll vote for a goddamn rutabega over Trump... but that doesn't mean I want a rutabega. I'd rather not have another vain egomaniacal billionaire like Blumberg, or a pipe-dreaming hippie-who-doesn't-know-when-to-die-off like Bernie. Yeah, I'd vote for 'em over Trump, but that doesn't mean I'd rather vote for damn near anybody but them. I think either would still be a disastrous president. It's just that practically nobody's worse than the incompetent moron-pleasing embarrassment that's currently using the White House as a litterbox.

Tel, I understand your concern about Gabbard but hope you don't spend much time worrying about her. She has about as much chance of becoming the nominee as you or I.

She can run third party and strip votes away from the Dem nominee. I mention her because unlike the rest of the nominees I know I will NOT be voting for her.

Some are suggesting he should buy out Fox News. He doesn't need to do much with it other than cut off the years of smears and lies like the ones they directed at Hillary before, during and since 2016. That way even if Bloomberg doesn't win he will be doing our country a tremendous service by catching and killing the dangerous long time propaganda outlet of the right wing.

I like Bloomberg. I think he has wide appeal and good sense. Bernie and Elizabeth are too extreme especially on the medicare for all that phases out private insurance. This is just crazy to a lot of people who like their private insurance companies. I think they should have a choice.
Mayor Pete offers an attractive public option (he says, I don't know exactly what it is but he's not forcing it on anyone, just putting it out there as an option. If is it really good it will catch on, if it is ever operational. Besides, he is too young and inexperienced. Black voters fear that if Pete is the nominee the ads against him will feature His Wedding Pictures. Seriously.
Natter and complain all you want about this candidate or another but if the Democrats don't nominate someone who can attract a significant turnout of black voters you can kiss this election goodbye. Black voters are coming to see Bloomberg as a very viable candidate. They are scared to death that DJT may win a second term! They are clear-eyed and practical about who the nominee needs to appeal to.
I think many disgruntled real Republicans, blue collar voters who have not been helped by DJT's programs and those looking for a change will be attracted to Bloomberg. He won't scare anyone except the Orange one. He's smarter and richer and better educated and informed than DJT, a real self made billionaire. That will irk the big baby to no end. He's also tech savvy, which is also a huge leg up in the kind of race we need to run. Smart ads, plenty of money, good ideas and straight talk.
And, he knows Donald, his weaknesses, crimes, tactics and who knows what else?
Also, one last thing: Voters are uncharacteristically undecided up to the point that they walk into the voting booth (so they're saying in New Hampshire). To me, that means no one has really caught fire. It means to me that they have not really seen someone who fires them up. I think Bloomberg is that person.
PS And no one will try and call him a Socialist!

Even Michael Moore is attacking Bloomberg but we know Moore is all in for Bernie. They just found a secret audio tape of Bloomberg defending stop and frisk but who cares if his numbers keep going up in the black community? I mean other than IPOTUS, Bernie and the rest of the Dem nominees who will need that support from the black community if the want to win.

Isn't that the truth! I'm not worried about the audio of Bloomberg defending stop-and-frisk since OMG, it is not exactly BREAKING NEWS!
Everyone is well aware of that chapter in his political history, as are, most importantly, the group that was effected by it, the black voters.
We don't have the luxury or nonsense of going through a "purity test". When I think of how people derided Romney for putting a dog in its crate on top of a car was grounds for determining that he wouldn't be a good president (as grim as the dog thing was) is cringe-worthy.
We simply need a straight talking, reasonable candidate with good positions on climate disruption, civil rights, voting rights, women' s rights, respect for rule of law, respect and understanding of our allies and a knowledge of history and so on. Oh, and tech/advertising savvy does not hurt either. Black voters have sifted through the field and are shifting to Mike. I think he fits the bill. This is no time to fool around. We need to make DJT a one term president.
