Do You Think President Shit Stain is Being Overtly Racist Because ...

...  he knows that there is evidence that he was banging 14-year-old girls with Jefferey Epstein?

This is a plausible scenario.

This is what we've been reduced to in this country.

Distraction's probably part of it, but mostly he's just trying to appeal to his base.

I know that not all conservatives are racists. A lot of them hate this and are not on board with it. The ones who are still supporting Trump, though, deserve far less slack, because it's clear what the bastard is, and you're either on board with that or you're not. If they are, well, then, they can't really get mad if we think they're racist... because Donald Trump sure thinks they are! He's playing to his crowd, giving them what he thinks they want... and what he thinks they want is ol' hardcore dumbass Archie-Bunker-style go-back-to-Africa racism. And if they want to feel insulted that someone thinks so poorly of them... they can take it up with him, because racists are for damn-sure who he thinks he's talking to.

He's calling the tune. If they don't want guilt-by-association, then they have two options: (1.) Get the fuck off the dance floor and call this guy out and stop supporting him, or (2.) Ha ha, I lied, there is no second option, you either get away from this or you admit some ugly things about yourself.

He's done this too much and too blatantly for it to be excused away anymore. It's not an incident or two anymore, it's a pattern, and it's too strong to be open to interpretation anymore. It's done.

And if anybody's still supporting Trump, and they still think they're not racist, then they better take a good look around 'em at who's in the car with 'em and start doing some serious self-assessment, because the racists sure as hell think he's a racist. David Duke and all those pudwhacks at the Daily Stormer and Stormfront sure love the hell out of him. And they're who he's playing to. And he knows he's appealing to them, and that's why he does it -- he even says, "A lot of people agree with me." He's saying what he thinks his base wants.

And pretty much all that's left of his base do want that. The weeding-out is fucking finished. Anybody who's still on "team Trump" after all the hateful crap he's said and done are racists. It's time to stop cutting them any slack about it or giving them benefit of the doubt.

I think part of this is to divert from the Epstein case. I have no doubt that he's cut from the same cloth. Another part is his insatiable ego...part of narcissistic personality disorder. And the Mueller testimony is next week.

I agree with Z that there is no longer any doubt that 45 is a racist. His claim that he doesn't have a racist bone in his body and that he says he is not racist is proof that most racism is unconscious, not that I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I agree also that this was intended to be a sure-fire hot button issue he knew would get the Democrats up out of their seats but the fact that he hit a trifecta of issues: women, women of color and an old racist trope combined to set a fire bigger than the one he intended, maybe.

Thankfully, the Mueller testimony won't happen until next week, so the dust from the latest dumpster fire will likely have died down by then.

I don't think it has anything to do with covering up the Epstein thing, because he hasn't been directly accused in that one yet, not by the media anyway.

He's in election mode, and he's revving up both his base against the 4 members of the Squad because they are easy, very liberal targets for the conservative media.  He's making it very ugly so the whole democratic party will jump to their side and it will convince voters that all Dems are actually Democratic Socialists or far leftists by association.
Shoring up his base and trying to convince swing voters that Dems are too radical for them.

I know Trump seems to be an imbecile in a lot of ways, but he wouldn't be in the White House if he didn't have some political savvy.
He wants to run his election against these 4 women, not against any of the declared Democratic candidates.

Heard this very same theory put forth on a conservative talk radio show Tuesday morning (which I was only listening to because I was too lazy to change the station), and have to say it makes perfect sense.

I agree it likely has nothing to do with the Epstein thing.

Yes, distracting from the Epstein case is a secondary plus for him. I agree, he, along with the rest of the R's, are trying to scare low-information voters into believing Democrats are all socialists who want to take away their guns and give their hard earned money to lazy people. Redistribution of wealth plus race bating are two favorite notes struck by the R's.

There aren't enough old white people, mainly males, to gather enough votes for a win in 2020 but the four female congress members suit his purposes perfectly. Even though this move has cemented the Dems in congress in their defense, it has also done a great deal to make them the face of the Democratic Party. I don't mind that personally but we need to appeal to many voters, not just women of color. Hopefully, what will come out of this episode and the vote taken yesterday to condemn the president's comments and tweets, will be to energize the "we're all Americans" and "anti-racists" voters into an anti-Trump stance. It has energized the Dems base. Let's hope this translates into a rallying cry for independents and moderates too.

Amen to that.

Amazing ....

President Donald Trump’s tweet telling four Democratic congresswomen to “go back” to “the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” was quite literally textbook racism.

Federal law as enforced by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission counts discrimination based on nation of origin as one of several kinds of prohibited discrimination.

One example the EEOC lists on its website matches nearly word-for-word the President’s tweets.

“Examples of potentially unlawful conduct include insults, taunting, or ethnic epithets, such as making fun of a person’s foreign accent or comments like, “Go back to where you came from.”

The trumpet sent a tweet, not repeated statements, it makes great theater for (mostly) liberals and other spineless dweebs to make this a big deal. In any event the targets don't work for him so trying to apply employment laws to this situations is a fools errand. Trumpet is an idiot and proves it every day so try not to slide further into the stupidity abyss with him.

Oh Bless Your Twisted Little Heart, if you have nothing constructive to add and are only able to post misleading BS might I suggest trying to at least act like an adult for once and stay away? Anyone who thinks what I posted is being "apologetic" is about as aware of reality as a potato.

Just a video of the future POTUS ogling and grabbing women while yucking it up with a lecherous pedophile.

No biggie.

Everyone's on to your schtick, Spanky.

Claim that you don't like and didn't vote for Trump, and then downplay and support everything he says and does.

You're like Pkrdum's little sidekick.

You fool no one.

Sure Sally Girl. I guess it was too much to hope you would act like an adult.

You're like someones (and you know who) tiny sidedick.

Wow ...

... indecipherable, unfunny, sophomoric, and more than a little creepy.

You must've put a lot of thought and effort into that one, Spanky.

Calling half of the country racist worked so well in 2016 that leftists are upping it to 75% in 2020.

Good luck.

What could possibly go wrong?

“We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice,” Pressley said over the weekend, speaking at a progressive political convention. “We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice.”

Comments intended to empower historically marginalized people, as opposed to comments intended to marginalize historically powerless people.

I can see where you’d confuse the two.

Idiot.

Hmmm ...

Remember this?

A third woman accused Mr. Trump of rape very recently. According to the Daily Mail, a woman filed an April 2016 lawsuit claiming that when she was thirteen years old she was held as a sex slave to Mr. Trump and his friend Jeffrey Epstein. The woman claimed to have a witness, “Tiffany Doe,” to the incidents. She filed the case in pro per, that is, without the assistance of a lawyer.

The case was dismissed by the court for technical filing errors. She then obtained a lawyer and the case was modified and refiled in New York federal court, against Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein.

The second lawsuit was dismissed at the request of the complainant, after she claimed she'd been threatened and harassed.

Maybe, Trump is getting nervous about this being revisited now that Epstein has been pinched.

Could be something there. Most of the stuff Trump does is intended as a distraction -- one bad thing to make people look away from something even worse. One of the few things scummier than being a racist is being a child-rapist.

While nothing Trump's done would surprise me -- he's the scum that forms on scum and I thought that long before he ran for president, and he'd deny himself nothing, even sex with a child -- I don't put too much hope in this getting proven without some kind of video evidence or rape-kit DNA or something, which I don't think they have or it'd have gotten farther than it has. We see from the Kavanaugh hearings that people ignore claims, so they'll likely dismiss her like they dismissed all the other accusers. But if Trump does somehow get nailed for being a child molester it's going to be amazing watching his base -- especially the evangelicals -- try to find ways to keep defending him. You know they will, though. They're invested. "Child molester" will just be another on a big pile (con-man, cheat, sell-out to enemy countries, liar, adulterer, bigot, etc.) that they've reconciled themselves to to keep from having to admit that they're stupid and got fooled into voting for a scumbag.

Oh, no doubt his supporters would dismiss it as a deep state conspiracy to take down their savior.

It’ll be very telling to see if Barr inserts himself into the Epstein matter.
