I did not know that Mueller's own summary was out there for the public to read, but it is. It's only 18 pages, but it makes it perfectly clear that he expects Congress to act on the Obstruction of Justice Charges.

And it sounds nothing at all like Bill Barr's little report.

Thanks so much for the link. Still reading. I see no reason that Mueller's summary couldn't have been released...but then Barr wouldn't have had the chance to try and spin the results...uh, OBSTRUCT might be a better choice of words.

So when exactly WAS this summary released, and why haven't the media pounced on it???

I do not know when it was released either. My daughter sent the link to me, and since it is from snopes, I didn't doubt its authenticity.
I have not heard in the news that it was released either, but I believe that Barr got copies of the summaries that Mueller wanted put out to the public when he got his report. Also, I know that during Barr's testimony, he was asked for the summaries and he said he would look them up and provide them to the committee. They had been stapled to the letter that Mueller sent to Barr objecting to Barr's summary and had been removed before Barr brought the so called "snitty letter" before the house committee.
Oh, sitting here typing and just heard on TV that Trump has ordered the FBI to investigate Joe Biden.
He has to be impeached. That's all there is to it.

I posted the Russia conclusion from his summary. I guess the media has been busy with impeachment.

“[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,”

OK, Telstar, we get how you feel about Pkr, and very few if any here would argue with you on that.

But would you PLEASE, PLEASE consider stopping the repetitive posting of the lengthy, senseless gibberish in response to Pkr???  It's EXTREMELY annoying (including to people on your own side of the political fence, which of course is the majority here), a complete waste of everyone's time to scroll through, and just plain inconsiderate.  PLEASE!!

That's funny, it takes me about 3 or 4 seconds to scroll through it. I'll try to switch from the Pkr gibberish to the Pkr dooshbags but the best way to get me to stop would be to totally ignore Pkr. Hey I'm adaptable.

So whom are you actually punishing, Tel?  Pkr, or we who occasionally opt to battle his B.S.?

As for your "3 or 4 seconds," the point is we shouldn't have to scroll through that junk at all.

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged

Newly unearthed memos show a high-ranking government official who met with Steele in October 2016 determined some of the Donald Trump dirt that Steele was simultaneously digging up for the FBI and for Hillary Clinton’s campaign was inaccurate, and likely leaked to the media.

The concerns were flagged in a typed memo and in handwritten notes taken by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec on Oct. 11, 2016.

Her observations were recorded exactly 10 days before the FBI used Steele and his infamous dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and the campaign’s contacts with Russia in search of a now debunked collusion theory.

It is important to note that the FBI swore on Oct. 21, 2016, to the FISA judges that Steele’s “reporting has been corroborated and used in criminal proceedings” and the FBI has determined him to be “reliable” and was “unaware of any derogatory information pertaining” to their informant, who simultaneously worked for Fusion GPS, the firm paid by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton campaign to find Russian dirt on Trump.

That’s a pretty remarkable declaration in Footnote 5 on Page 15 of the FISA application, since Kavalec apparently needed just a single encounter with Steele at State to find one of his key claims about Trump-Russia collusion was blatantly false.

It states several direct empirical facts. I can understand why you'd like to ignore it.

That piece of trash wouldn't know a fact if it bit him on his fat derriere. This is an OPINION piece, with the obligatory disclaimer at the top. Yellow journalism at it's nadir.

Nothing new from the drug abusing tennis queen. I'm surprised rational folks respond to his endless pile of manure. Remember some years back when he started a poll to have BOF replaced as the forum administrator? Laughing As if anyone in their right mind takes Pkr's bleating seriously.

What you don't understand, Pkr, is that we on the other side don't really give a rat's arse why the investigation started. It's like complaining that Bonnie and Clyde were only chased and killed by the police because one of them was seen jaywalking earlier that day, so the police had no real reason to go after them. The FBI director at the time said that Papadopoulas was one of the first targets of the investigation, not Trump at all. It's all that came afterwards that we care about, not who or what started it. Keep up your nitpicking though, and for goodness sake, never, ever shut the f--k up about the e-mails of a woman who was never a president and is sitting at her house playing with her grandkid. She's such a danger to America, after all.

Solid, clear thinking, bigdog. Thanks. Too bad it will fall on deaf ears, because practicality and wisdom are not in Pkr's handbook. It's all about "fairness" and, mostly, equal punishment, no matter the consequences. King Solomon he most definitely isn't.

Either the Obama admin, Clapper, Comey, Brennan, Lynch, Rice, Powers, Rhodes, Strzok, Page, Hillary, DNC... etc are held accountable... or Trump should be free to practice the same tactics. Which do you prefer?
