We're not the shittiest state in America, not yet. Somebody needs to grab the people pushing this bill and lobotomize them before they can do more damage. Their brains are absolutely no good for anything anymore.

Un-blanking-believable. But by hook or crook, those intent on challenging Roe v Wade are not going to give up until they get a case before Kavanaugh.

When conservatives see something like the Taliban in Afghanistan, or Al Quada, they're not outraged because of the insanity and injustice and evil of it... they're just pissed off because "why can't we do that?" They fear Sharia Law not because it's repressive and evil, but because it's competition.

The Republican party has long been a theocratic party. They just like to try to keep that under wraps... but, they're feeling bolder now because Trump's managed to go for two years without pitchforks-and-torches, so they're trying to see how far they can push things to get the Handmaid's Tale scenario they really want. This is just part of it.

Conservatives don't actually give the least lil' fuck about "saving babies." If that were the case they wouldn't stand for the kind of infant mortality rates that conservative policies in states like mine get them ( here's a map that'll prove what I'm saying beyond any doubt: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/infant_mortality_rates/infant_mortality.htm ). It ain't about "saving babies," it's about controlling women. That's all it is, that's all it's ever been. They don't want women to have any rights, because, with rights, they have recourse. And if they have recourse and options, they don't have to do what a bunch of old white men decide for them... and that gripes the shit out of those "freedom-lovin'" conservatives.

That's hardcore truth about the whole thing. Texas is just showing their hand in the game the theocrats have always been playing.

Well hell they can't control the blacks any more so might as well place the women folk under heel. Judging by the number of self hating women that voted for and still support O.J. Trump, maybe they will end up with the kind of lives they deserve. Just hope they don't end up in the middle of the night with a mouthful of ear to ear justice at the hands of their own daughters, after big daddy taste the business end of the family shotgun. So sad. Twisted Evil

SEE THE RESEMBLANCE?

"There's a lot of hypocritical idiocy on display here, but Tony Tinderholt is the cherry on top of the bigot sundae...

Tony Tinderholt is on his FIFTH wife, yet is objecting to gays getting married

This piece of shit can get married as many times as he wants... FIVE times at current count... but it's the gays who are ruining the sanctity of the institution?

Uh huh.

Amazing how somebody who lied about their employment history... committed insurance fraud... left children in the care of drug-abusers... and allowed a minor to be served alcohol, become intoxicated and then drive drunk... is in a position to dictate what people are and are not allowed to do with their personal lives.

Uh huh.

It's only a matter of time until he's exposed for sleeping with an underage gay prostitute, busted for cocaine, or is caught strangling a puppy. These people can't seem to stop themselves. The rules don't apply to their lives, after all.

Uh huh.

PP was designed to control the population of "unfit" and "feeble minded". One pc step removed from eugenics.

It still largely does its intended purpose to minorities and poor.
