Interesting concept, and I agree that it could be a good thing, except...

Congress relinquished oversight and lawmaking duties to bureaucrats many years ago, and now, instead of executing and enforcing laws made by us, they create laws that are in many cases self serving or ideology driven.  Any law by its nature takes away some freedom, and in a free society, those who make laws must be elected.

So are you and the Mrs. still located in north central Arkansas or did you find a place to relocate in Lillian?

Hey Star, kind of you to remember.  Yes, we moved last December.  Sold our place in Arkansas, drove down, checked into a hotel and looked at property for a few weeks.  Couldn't find any P'Cola or Lillian Perdido bay property we liked - they've all gone nuts in price in the last year, so we bough a nice house in Gulf Shores and really like the area a lot.  Eating a lot of seafood and enjoying the beach.  Of course this summer with all the traffic, we might not like it so much Smile

Anyway... I hope you stay around. Actual discussions would be a welcome return to the forum.
