Escambia and Santa Rosa schools closed Wednesday due to icy conditions. School system will advise about Thursday.

Also Pensacola NAS, Corry Station and Saufley Field are closing to visitors and canceling normal operations for other than essential personnel as of 9 p.m. tonight and through tomorrow.

I keep thinking the picture of Atlanta's botched ice storm preps a couple of years back is on everyofficial's mind.

Let's just hope it's much ado about not very much.

In the 70's we had snow. Enough to accumulate and cause 20 accidents on the Three Mile bridge before they closed it.

The wind made it quite unpleasant. A bowl of soup from Panera made it all right.

Panera soups hit the spot. I miss them.

Black bean is made without Gluten but they can not guarantee it is safe from cross contamination.

I usually eat Newk's without problems. Fire roasted tomato soup without croutons and a sandwich without bread, they are very careful.
