Hey boneheads: You own the presidency (for at least a few months more), and you own both houses of congress.
Tell us, please, why you don't bring charges and prosecute the folks you love so much to blame?
Why not?
The only answer that appears logical is that you don't really want to punish former presidents and state officials, because if you did so you'd lose your best methods of diverting attention from the fact that Mr. Trump and Mr. Bannon are destroying our international and domestic image.
You whined for years about how terrible Obamacare is, but you get absolutely nothing done to repeal or replace it. You are faced with changing tax law ... and the odds of you agreeing on it this year, are the same odds that a volcano will erupt just outside Boston in January.
Again, the only logical explanation at your inability to actually govern, is that if you actually make improvements, you'll lose these situations as excuses to whine about.
