If you want to take my gun you'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Somebody please -- anyone please -- tell me why there's not a 10-year's federal imprisonment for possessing a firearms magazine that will hold more than five rounds.

Fuck the 2nd amendment! And screw every mother sonofabitch who insists on the right to wipe out dozens of folks when the idea seems right.

Hey Altrightcriminal, and Pkrbum ... if the shoe fits you assholes ...

You can lay the blame for part of this on the law enforcement community in the U.S. They see the carnage every day but they refuse, as a group, to condemn our easy access to firearms--probably because most of them are gun-nut, dues-paying members and supporters of the NRA. If the powerful law enforcement lobby started working for tightened restrictions, we'd see changes in a hurry.

For instance, it's probably worth communicating to the American people that policing is not an especially dangerous job. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, truck drivers are twice as likely to die while working—and transporting goods from one place to another is a pretty important activity. Without truck drivers, our economy would collapse overnight. So why does it seem so ridiculous that we would lower a flag to half-mast to honor a truck driver who died in the line of duty? Why don't we have a day to remember the truck drivers who gave their lives to our country?

They try to envision "Rambo" scenarios where they're gonna need to fend off dozens of troops. It's a thing that doesn't happen... and if it did, they'd be dead anyway. If that many numbers come after you, you're going out, I don't care how many John Woo movies you've seen. If that many are coming after you, they're going to be armed at least as well as you are -- and likely with armor backup -- or they won't be trying it. More rounds aren't going to save you. It's the kind of never-been-in-a-real-fight, too-stupid-for-the-movies-they've-been-watching shit that the kind of gutless wimps who tell you "you'll be picking up your teeth if you call me a Nazi" like to fantasize about. Ask the fucks at Waco or that bastard at Ruby Ridge how their boatloads of ammo things turned out for 'em. Oh, that's right... nobody can ask 'em. They're dead.

In civilian life, the only time large-capacity magazines have come in handy were for scumbags like Stephen Paddock or James Holmes or Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, who wanted to kill off innocents in large numbers as quickly as possible. That's who benefits from those weapons in modern society.

I'm a gun owner, but gun control is a reasonable and worthwhile thing. The NRA is a detriment.
