There is a great deal of stress with finishing this project so my wife will have a clear path after I pass. It was fun the last two years. It would be fun now if everything did not hurt, and when I think I cannot get weaker, I am reminded that it is going to get worse. I would love to watch NBA basketball and visit with my family at the end without having to worry about completion of the project, and the utter nonsense we have been subjected to.......better me than her dealing with insanity, but we are close. I wanted to get a seawall completed, but I contacted four contractors and not one returned a phone call or email. I have been working construction projects for over forty five years, and I have NEVER seen anything like this mess. Half asz is the rule, and I know people get piszed......but there is no comparison......I feel like the Panhandle is Mayor Daley's patronage Chicago where it was who you knew.....not what your talents were. I am not saying corrupt, just a GOB network which has different rules for different folks......I cannot write with any specificity, but I will let my wife give twenty examples of pure nonsense over the last ten years on one project. So yea.....I will be so happy to fade away not dealing with challenged folks who are always looking for an angle to not keep their quotes or quality at the level promised. I feel at times that I am living in a third world country. I mean no offense, but I really did not need nonsense at this point in my life. Details later.

Sea, I trust this is a worthy project -- I mean, worthy of all the effort and expended funds and "nonsense" and pain in the end -- but I have to admit I have more than once over recent months wished to heck you hadn't created such a significant burden for yourself, as it seems to have turned out to be. I understand that you've said it would still be fun were it not for the pain you're suffering -- but there it is.

NOMB, I realize, but have wanted to say this for quite a while and decided to just say it, FWIW, no offense intended -- only genuine concern.

The project has been a nightmare. It should have been a slam dunk, but after I pass my wife will give the details. I have asked my wife to keep people away from me. That means tenants, neighbors, government employees, and subcontractors. She has done a wonderful job not letting me get into any conflicts, but this last week sadly has been a disaster.

Thankfully, I have one of the greatest NBA seasons in my memory. The ten years of mediocre East play is evolving with young players and great team play. The west is one of the most exciting playoff race that I can remember. I would much rather just fade away watching basketball than having to deal with the insanity of the last few weeks.

It was great to see IT start for the Lakers and score 20 points. He got into a argument with Randle, but you can see the fire is returning to his game. The kid has been screwed around by the business side of the NBA when all he did was give everything for Boston only to be traded when he was injured. I am watching the sad struggle of Rose and his injuries and how far somebody can fall from being the MVP, to being a charity case which Thibs who is loyal has given him a chance. At what point does that competitive spirit die in a great athlete where they realize their playing days are over?

See: Grant Hill

But there have been so many in every sport. I'd give my left arm to play competitive tennis again.

I would give anything to play a tennis game or a round of golf, but I never got paid for either........(I had an honest handicap, and once realized I had lost 14 out of 15 years playing out of our handicap book, so I never mastered how to miss a putt after a match and money was won to raise one's handicap)

No I am absolutely sold on the NBA product right now. I used to be a fanatic on NFL football, but something about brain injuries to kids which has just cut down my viewing......the Bears sucking also adds to that choice, but the NBA....hell I am life long Bulls fan, but I am a timberwolves fan this year......and so I fully expect that Thibs will some how save Noah and his 72 million contract which still has two years left on it.........Loyalty is a rare thing in this world, but can you win a championship doing the same? Probably not this year, but players are willing to give their all when they see a guy like Thibs who is tough and loyal with his players.

The spurs need to turn it on. They're 3-7 in the last 10 with just a month or so left in the season.

Uncharacteristic.

I have been watching the highlights of each of the games on ESPN, but not enough time to watch a game yet. I know the Loyola fans went nuts.......it has been a long time since Loyola or DePaul have been relevant.

Duke is very good this year and already have the #1, #2, #3, #7, and #9 picks for next year. For this year they must be pleased to see VA and AZ fall clearing a path for them.

The west playoffs are exciting. I read that Pippen said that the comparison between James and Jordan is silly. If you want to win.......you take Jordan. Exactly what every person who is knowledgeable has said for five years. James is a better person than Jordan in my opinion, but to me it is like comparing Dr. J to Kareem.......it does not make sense. I have two couples visiting and am enjoying not working.

There have been some amazing talents... Kareem, wilt, shaq... even lebron, mailman, Carter.

But there's never been a better player at closing the deal. Or having more ways to do it.

Stop one weapon.... he'll beat you with another... any other. The complete weapon when it counts most.

I will enjoy the finals no matter who plays, but I would feel pretty bad if the Timberwolves do not make it......Butler is gimping out there two weeks sooner just because Wiggins thinks he is a superstar based on stats.....Have we not had enough of individual play in the James Era........I want to see some team wins.
