While our Tweety President is doing all he can to shitcan every form of energy other than the burning of fossil fuel, our fellow human beings are already dying from the effects of climate change. Face it folks, the oil companies are more than willing to destroy all of us for a little more profit.

Knowing your real enemies is vital if you want your children to survive.
Reality!

Lifted from an email notice by the NRDC

"It's a scary time for science — and scientists.

The Trump administration has disbanded a crucial climate advisory committee that gathers vital information about communcating the impacts of climate change.

There are real fears that President Trump might bury a climate change report written and reviewed by scientists from 13 federal agencies. And Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has reassigned a top climate policy official and dozens of other senior employees within his agency.

But it doesn't stop there: EPA scientists are being forced out or are stepping down from their positions out of protest.

President Trump is calling for funding cuts to the National Weather Service, NOAA, and other agencies we need more than ever to predict and prepare for climate-driven extreme weather like Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and now Maria.

Trump has nominated climate skeptic Rep. Jim Bridenstine to serve as NASA administrator and Sam Clovis — a non-scientist — to serve nonsensically as chief scientist of the Department of Agriculture.

And he wants Bill Wehrum, a corporate attorney for a variety of fossil fuel companies, to run the EPA's clean air program. In fact, Wehrum was largely responsible for the Bush EPA's record of allowing more illegal emissions of harmful air pollution than any EPA administration before or since.

This must not stand. We urgently need your support to fight back against the Trump administration's attempts to banish science and silence scientists.

Help NRDC raise $50,000 to defend our environment on all fronts and fight back against the administration's anti-science, climate-denial agenda.

We've never witnessed such a massive assault on our environment, public health, and our nation's scientists as we have over the past nine months.

In addition to pulling the U.S. out of the landmark Paris climate agreement, Trump is attempting to cut the EPA's budget by 31%, dismantle the Clean Power Plan and set us back decades in the fight for clean energy, force the Keystone XL pipeline down our throats, strip away protections for national monuments and public lands, and roll back the ban on oil and gas drilling off our coasts.

That's why we need you beside us every step of the way — to stand up for our planet, our communities, and the truth about climate science.

Help us be ready to fight back when it matters most by making your tax-deductible, emergency gift today.

Thank you for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Rhea Suh
President, NRDC"

Nope. Read their IRS report and you'll see they are a typical money grubbing "nonprofit" with something like 167 people making over $100K per year including a trustee who "works" less than 20 hours a week making $189K. Oh and don't you like the way they suck at the government teat by being a "nonprofit" With something like $236 million in net assets?

You threw that check away partner.....

It's ok. It was only $5. My major support for renewable fuel is to Greenpeace and Sierra Club. But let me ask: do you really believe that Global Warming, and man's connection to it through the burning of fossil fuels isn't real? Are you going to tell me its all a Chinese hoax?

Why would I? It's obvious man-made pollution is real and MUST have some effect on the climate. All the screeching, sign waving, and finger pointing ain't going to change a thing though. No, what's required is serious research into clean energy. Personally I support hydro-electric and nuclear more than wind and solar because of the enormous footprint of W/S per kWh. It's also easy to forget that this is a very large country and we aren't set up for mass transit like other smaller (primarily European) countries. We are dependent on personal vehicles so make those cleaner and more efficient. Of course none of that matters because environmental cesspools like Russia, India and China could give a real hoot about air quality or pollution in general. Brick wall....face it, mankind will be the death of mankind.

You stupid shit, you don't even know what a Trustee for a non-profit is, do you?

Apparently you can't read an IRS filing either.

According to their Form 990, Part VII, Section A, (the Officers, Directors, Trustees, Key Employees, and Highest Compensated Employees section) they DON'T have "something like 167 people making over $100K per year", they have 19 including the Trustee you mentioned who happens to be the founding director. So you lied about that. They also have about 40 uncompensated Trustees.

The NRDC is a global organization that is having an impact worldwide. They have a clean bill of health from both Charity Watch and Charity Navigator.

Just like every other piece-of-shit conservative, you can't stand the idea altruism. You're all greedy, lying scum.

You may be right about Russia, but you are wrong about China. Yes, it's true that presently China is burning way too much coal. But China's cut back plan is stronger than ours. Their program for renewable energy development is really quite strong. Don't forget, they are producing efficient, inexpensive solar panels at a fantastic rate -- and more than 70% of this production is for home consumption.

You really are that ignorant fat kid on the playground. You're too stupid to read apparently. From their IRS filing:
Part VII

2 Total number of individuals (including but not limited to those listed above) who received more than $100,000 of reportable compensation from the organization: 167

The fact I stated about the Trustee is there too. Why don't you have your Mommy read the thing to you then get back to me when you realize that, once again, you have made a fool of yourself. Publicly. Again.

If China is actually banning the sales of gas or oil propelled cars and trucks in favor of electric vehicles, why aren't we doing the same?

Just saw on TV this a.m. that Mercedes will be opening a factory in Alabama soon that will only build electric cars. What's apparent now, is that the renewable energy field will soon offer more jobs to Americans than the oil companies do.

Windmills, solar panels, geo-thermal, hydro-electric -- all renewable non-polluting sources. You obviously don't like China. Dummy. They either are or shortly will be the strongest economy in the world and their eco-monitoring efforts have full governmental support -- unlike our own, led by a Pussy Grabber who doesn't believe in science. No wonder you like him so much!
