A couple of "stream of consciousness"-type memory entries by someone who obviously spent a lot of time and did a lot of things with Bob:

Bob provided the flavor to this Forum. It is sadly very bland without his flavor. I miss him getting angry with me. I miss playing with him by bad mouthing music he enjoyed. I especially liked his interest in historical Pensacola. What a gentle kind man. I always wanted to meet him and sadly the more you see the posts in his guest book you realize he was such a character on and off the forum that he flavored many a person's life with child like honesty with a sense of humor.

And thanks for saying. It was my privilege -- such a very good guy, our Bob.

Hey knot, I think all of us who had the privilege of interacting with Bob here feel the same.  Life just sucks sometimes, no two ways about it.   Sad
