FBI raided his house and convinced a judge that this guy with probable cause has done something criminal. "why am I going to give you a search warrant?"

You can bet that he had a hard drive which was on a ip specific communication intercepted.

Manafort is in deep trouble and has potential legal problems that may involve Trump with money laundering and who knows what else. Why is Trump throwing shade on him? He is trying to make Manafort look like an unpatriotic and unbelievable person (easy job) or, is he's trying to alienate him? That makes no sense since Manafort could easily turn on Trump to save his own skin. The plot thickens.

How is it that after apparently all these years of having huge chunks of money coming into the country, buying up real estate etc. that it is just now being "looked at" by the authorities?

Is it just a matter of everyone looking the other way? Are the relevant departments understaffed? What gives?

It's got to be the crooked banks. They don't all report or look into questionable transactions. Certain ones should be audited more closely if they have a history of shady transactions.

I think Preet Bharara was looking into that when he was fired.
Bob Muller has put together a murderer's row of lawyers to look into it now.
