I can't think of anything more valuable to we homo-sapiens, than our lives. Which makes disease one of our worst enemies. What we're all caught up in right now, is a seemingly unresolvable war between democratic or republican healthcare. It's Obama-care this or Trump-care that. With both programs dedicated to making health insurers, drug companies, and medical equipment manufacturers happy. Very, very happy.

I know this is a naive idea, but wouldn't it be great if our congressional members actually devoted themselves to creating laws designed to bring maximum benefit to all Americans?

And wouldn't it be great if we had a healthcare program designed to utilize the latest technology in finding disease early -- when the odds of treatment success are highest? Face it, serious diseases come with serious costs -- for everyone.

I want to know how Blue Cross, Humana, Wellcare and the other vultures have been effective at INCREASING our life spans. Don't you?

Screw democratic healthcare vs. republican healthcare!

Both parties are unable to work together. Congress looks like this board most days. You are correct though, it would be nice if they could FIX it and not have to replace it. I am against replacing without a solution.

There's a reason every State in the Union has an Insurance Commissioner or the equivalent. It's because the insurance industry is the most rapacious, crooked and predatory industry known to man. How many States have a Grocery Store Commissioner or a Commissioner of Home Building? None, only the insurance industry is awarded that honor.

The only thing they've ever INCREASED is their bottom line, at the expense of their customers. It's time the Democrats started talking about public insurance and public banking.

Bullshit! Public insurance is not all about profit. Medicare and Medicaid are both examples of public insurance.
