The story around Donald Trump Jr and Jared Kushner are titillating. But the real issue is: what did the president know and when did he know it?

"In the unfolding Russia scandal enveloping the White House, we are so fascinated – and entertained – by the supporting cast that we are losing sight of the man in the starring role, Donald J Trump.

This week, thanks to great reporting by The New York Times, we’ve been captivated by some new characters: Donald Trump Jr, a Russian lawyer named Natalia Veselnitskaya and Rob Goldstone, the rotund music promoter who was their go-between.

Then, there is the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who accompanied Trump Jr to the June meeting with the Russian lawyer to gather damaging goods on Hillary Clinton. Did he dime out his own brother-in-law and disclose the meeting in order to draw attention away from himself?

As the Trump campaign’s digital captain, did he have the skill to direct all the Russian bots and trolls that spread dirt on Hillary Clinton in key political precincts? (This theory of the case was put forth in a recent coop from McClatchy). Should Kushner’s security clearance be rescinded? Should he be prosecuted for leaving out information about his Russian contacts on Form 86, the required disclosure for White House officials?

Yes, this is all titillating stuff, but it diverts us from the real issue at the heart of the Russia scandal: what did the president know and when did he know it?..."

I think when the special prosecutor finishes his investigation it will be clear that the President knew of the Russian Collusion, but that it started with him and was delegated to his son and SIL. Everybody thought Christy was booted out, but there is a real possibility he still had many contacts in Justice who were warning him that President Trump had been compromised by the Russians. The proof for me is that he is still vigorously trying to protect Russian interests. Traitors.

How Trump and Christie Colluded to Steal $25 Million From NJ Taxpayers

An outraged Sarah Silverman says the money should go for education.

(Trump's almost $30 million tax liability to NJ was reduced to $5 million after Christie took office in 2010.  Christie, of course, knew nothing about it. Rolling Eyes And the probable reason Christie did not get a cabinet post is the fact that he prosecuted Jared Kushner's father.  BTW, has anyone heard from Guiliani?  Where the heck is Mr. 9/11?)

Rudy had clear signs of early onset dementia. In his younger years he was really a tough prosecutor and a good guy. However, after 911 he went Hollywood, and the last year has been painful to watch him talk. I think people realized his mind was not working properly and out of respect have avoided putting him in a position to make him look foolish when clearly he has had some type of diminished capacity.

I thought it was horrible when they did ambush interviews with Heston when he was very ill. Morality has just left this nation, and hopefully we can get a president like Ike who made people feel safe and made people feel they could trust our President. It has been a long time since that feeling has been popular in American opinions. President Trump fully knew about the Russian Collusion. He told the Russians he fired the FBI director to stop the Russian investigation. This is not rocket science. It started with Donald Trump, just like Watergate started with President Nixon.

And Nixon started with President Ike way back in 52. His wife Pat wore a good cloth republican coat and he was given a little dog named Checkers, remember?
