TREY GOWDY REACTS TO TRUMP JR RUSSIAN MEETING

I'm no fan of this guy, however in this clip he has turned a corner. The Trump/Russia debacle has even hit the fan at Fox News. Keep watching for about a minute until he gets to the really good part. You'll see what I mean.

As I reported the evolving story and the many threads of what it impacts, I was accused of spam, but top Republicans do not think this is spam. They are first Americans, and they realize how dangerous the take over by the Russians of the White House as evidenced by their efforts in the house to soften the 98-2 bipartisan Russian sanctions. This is getting worse by the hour.

Unfortunately the Republicans let Trump roll them. They didn't take him seriously, same for the MSM who gave him all the air time he wanted and delighted in seeing their rating soar when this TV reality host was on air.

Then he bullied all his opponents for the nomination and whipped up enough foolish shallow people to vote for him in the hopes that the system would change for the better and their lives would improve because what this country really needed, they thought, was someone from the business world (never mind he was a proven crook) and who was not a polished politician, would shake up Washington and drain the swamp.

Turns out he is not a polished anything, rough around the edges and mentally ill. Now, after ALL ELSE has failed and he's cozied up to Putin, isolated us from the rest of the free world, now the Republicans are finally coming around to seeing that if nothing else it may well be in their personal interest to at the very least distance themselves from this guy.

As the British said about the US, something to the effect that Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing…after they have exhausted all other possibilities.

Now that their legislative plans are crumbling under the weight of the Trump/Russia scandals they are beginning to see the light.

I'll add to this comment that I'm seeing news on TV that there are two camps developing within the GOP, those who say Trump has the best interest of the American people in mind and those who are freaked out over how close Trump is to Putin.

collusion aside, Donald Trump Jr. must have left that meeting heartbroken he wasnt able to adopt any Russian orphans and hunt them for sport
