Are the Russians indirectly stabbing President in the back with so called leaks

Russia wants to weaken America. This may have been their plan all the time. They are about to throw this nation into at least a year of upheaval based on their penetration of our government. We are dealing with an evil Putin.

Indeed.

I think they -- like many other Trump supporters -- are getting a good look at what they worked to put in office and are getting buyer's remorse. They know this guy is mentally ill and will destroy everything around him. And America's decline internationally is going to be a problem, even for our adversaries, because we're such an important part of the world economy. "A rising tide lifts all boats," and an ebbing one lowers them all. Trump backed out on a trade deal that's going to boost a lot of other countries' economies and sink ours, once it starts really taking effect. Russia will be boosted by it, but other countries around it will be boosted even more -- mainly China and India, and they're positioned to be more direct competition. That may be giving Putin some pause.

But, mostly, I think it's like you say -- they just want to keep America embroiled in controversy and losing more and more international respect and trust. They put Trump there, so now they'll poke at him and see if he topples. Meanwhile, he's poisoning our democracy with his war with the media, his attempts to meddle with the voting process, and his divisiveness.

I had a gut feeling watching some of the video of Trump and Putin at the G-20 meeting. Putin's body language screamed of discomfort being around President Trump. Couple this with the American Senate joining together as almost a backlash to President Trump who they fear has colluded with the Russians are actually bringing more harm to Russia with tougher sanctions than had Trump never took office and this whole Russian collusion never happened. I think you are right....Putin realizes he may have made a huge mistake, and the backlash will kill him, therefore he can shift the attacks to the traitor, and help America spend a year getting the traitor out of office which further weakens our democracy. I think these leaks are going to increase in frequency and substance. The house of cards and the lies and cover up are crumbling.

Why are you making treads about your "gut feeling"? There are probably 20+ recent threads on trump/Russia. But this needs it's own thread? Narcissistic much?

Totally correct. I draw on experience. Anybody who saw Putin saw he was uncomfortable with President Trump. It was similar to the German Chancellor. The man is mentally unstable, he is a proven liar, and he is a traitor. So yea.....it is all about my opinions based on experience, but tell me how all these leaks are coming out with the exact wording of these emails.....who could have provided that....use your gut.....use your brain.......who had access to this email.

Somebody is unstable... I'll give you that much. Rolling Eyes

Sorry, all your traitorous apologies for the Russian Collusion has just been blown out of the water with a series of emails which prove Russian Collusion, treason, and criminal behavior, and I am the one with a problem. Again, who leaked these emails to the NY times when they came from Russia. Game, set, and match.

Apologies? I want complete accountability and transparency. But we won't get it because useless idiots like you only demand it when it relates to one party. You're the problem... You set the precedent.

Hypocrite much?

Obama: After this election I will have more flexibility.

Medvedev: I will forward this information to Vladimir.

You actually teach. A President has the complete power to negotiate with foreign nations. That exchange was truthful and direct. You forget. He was speaking in his official position. I get some people on this forum are brainwashed, but when the entire brain leaks out of your head and you cannot distinguish reality. Pleaseeeeeee spend some time on your education.

Ya... cause begging "space" from hostile foreign countries so that you can bend over and grab your ankles after the election is the American way. Lmao... you're a fucking trip... a total hypocrite.

The proof is in the pudding. President Obama was the one who put earth shattering economic sanctions on the Russians which saw the Ruble drop in half and worked with the Europeans to find alternatives to Russian NG. President Obama has always been tough on Russia, and his clever request to discuss something after the election was good diplomacy. Again, clearly within the realm of government actions. Not treason. Did President Obama try to over turn the 98-2 bipartisan increased sanctions on Russia after clear evidence shows that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. Nope, but heck you were saying Hillary was a criminal and she was going to be indicted for three years. I was right you were wrong. I am right here, and you are wrong. game, set, and match.

I NEVER said that she'd be indicted. So now you have to stoop to outright lies. That's sad... plain sad.

I did this once before when you called me a liar about what you said about Hillary's criminal conduct, and I posted the truth. I will do the same by Thursday once again, but that takes time to use the google search function. Did it once, you forgot, I will do it a second time, and shame on you.
