1 Telstar has gone missing on 6/28/2017, 2:19 am

Don't know if anyone else  has noticed or cares but we seem to have lost a member, at least for now.  Tel had recently experienced a health issue but I didn't think it was so serious as to cause an absence of this length (over a week).

Some -- e.g. Joani and Pkr -- will doubtless be more than happy not to have Telstar among us, but he did contribute and add some value in his own way, and I, for one, hope he's OK and that he'll be back at some point.

So there.

And come to think of it, we haven't heard much from dumpcare in a while, either.  Dump, you out there?  Sending you a p.m.....

Both you guys, check in and let us know you're all right.

I'm sure that we all hope that they're OK. Nice dig... but this place isn't that serious to wish someone ill or gone. Well... unless they're a conservative that is. Amiright snowflake?

I noticed he hadn't been posting in a while, but didn't know he'd had any health issues... thought he might just be taking a break. Hopefully everything's okay.

You and Joani would gladly wish Tel gone from this board.  No one ever said gone, period.

GET REAL.

Am glad to report that dumpcare has checked in in response to a PM; says he's still alive and kicking.

Not a word from Telstar, nor has he picked up a PM sent over a week ago.

Oh for Pete's sake, missy, shove it.  I spoke the truth and you know it.  You've got some nerve, talking about "issues" when it comes to discussing Telstar.  How terribly pitiful you can't see that you're the one with the major problems, and I do mean major.   Tsk tsk.  Rolling Eyes

I hope nobody wishes anybody ill will when it comes to their personal health. I have not received a PM from him in over a month.

Of course not, sea, and (speaking to them, not you) I NEVER SAID ANYONE DID.  I only said Joani and Pkr would be glad not to have Tel among us -- meaning AMONG US on this board  -- which is the absolute truth based on everything derogatory they've said about him and to him all this time, and everyone knows that including, especially, themselves.  Simple fact!  It's totally THEIR PROBLEM due to their own defensive mindset if they interpreted my meaning any differently. Good holy grief.

And here we have the usual nonsensical, meaningless gobbledy-gook emanating from our un-favorite armchair critic's corner.   Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing -- and I do mean NOTHING.
lol yourself!

So there.

Truly altruistic intent would've never included the above... you can't sling mud and wear white.

WHAT MUD????  I spoke the PURE TRUTH, that you and Joani would be happy not to have Tel here.  Did I say you'd be happy for him to be DEAD or INJURED or SICK???  NO.  I said, precisely, "... Joani and Pkr -- will doubtless be more than happy not to have Telstar among us..."

WHAT MUD IS THAT???? IT'S ABSOLUTE 100% TRUTH AND YOU BOTH KNOW IT!!!!!

UN.   BLANKING.   BELIEVABLE.

Furthermore, who said anything about altruism or wearing white?  Those are  YOUR words, not mine.  All I did was post the information that two men seemed to be missing, and commented that, in the case of Telstar, you and Joani would be just as happy not to have him here. SO WTF are you getting down on ME for??  Again, for the third time, I ONLY SPOKE TRUTH-- and I never pretended to "altruism."  You two are so full of it it's amazing!!

There  you go again, defending yourself against AN ACCUSATION I NEVER MADE.  You are so terribly pitiful.

As for "sticking to my business," that's really rich, coming from you, Pkr.

I am more worried right now about Linda. It is not like her to lose her humor and go into this continual attack mode against PK and Joanie. I disagree with most of the political positions of PK and Joanie. We have been debating for 10 years, but we understand the sandbox does not need to get nasty. I also never had a problem with Bill who I agree with his politics mostly, but also used to get bored with the silly attacks which really got boring. Linda's statement that Joanie and PK would not be sad if Bill was gone was true, however to bring that up when the man might be facing health challenges seemed to be more of an attack than concern. I do not get the Linda vs Joan mean exchanges, but do understand the frustration of PK's political positions which is frustrating, but if you understand the sandbox principles pretty much he is messing with folks assumptions, and I find it much better to actually attack his substance than to attack his character. His character is that of a good man who has helped folks on this forum when they needed his help. He will always have my personal respect with his efforts to help Bob. I just think it is silly getting in the middle of the PK/Joannie feud with Bill, and I always stayed out of it and get along with both as I have received PM from all parties.

I hope everything is good with Linda, and sometimes we really do not know what challenges folks are facing, and maybe a little less personal attacks might be better for everybody. I used to like be the bad guy with everybody mad at me, but folks have quit being mean to me.........where is T, Bob, and Neko when you need them. Since Z has left us the cumulative losses make it hard for me to find the former enjoyment of sharing on the forum and this type of personal attacks back in forth is not debate of substance.

Oh puhleeze. Who appointed you god and preacher?? Take your self-righteous judgmentalism and stow it. I did NOTHING wrong; I only spoke the 100% plain truth which you and Joani absolutely refuse to acknowledge.
I've said before and will again that the best defense is a good offense, and that's exactly what's going on here. Two against one is the easiest tack for any bully to take and that's precisely what you're doing.
The truth is that you're the one who's being ugly -- something you're quite comfortable with, after all, being that it's your usual demeanor -- and it's totally transparent to anyone with half a brain.

Clear your goggles, Sea. They are the ones attacking ME; I am the one defending myself against their unwarranted criticism.

I find it absolutely astonishing how righteous they're acting NOW, when they've done nothing but bash Tel over and over and over, and in a very personal way - NOT because of  his opposing political views.   Now, just because I mentioned a possible health problem (which, btw, may have absolutely nothing to do with his absence), everyone wants to pretend none of that ever happened?  HYPOCRITICAL bullchit, I say.

Please don't waste another moment worrying about me.  I'm perfectly fine.  In fact the only negative thing in my life is this forum and I should probably ditch it.

No, I never said a word about BILL's being gone. Without empirical evidence, counselor, there's no justification for saying Tel is Bill. That's YOUR moniker for him, not mine, so please refrain from putting false words in my mouth.

Telstar is not Bill. I think I might know who he is...reminds me of someone at the old PNJ forum. I sent him a PM yesterday but he hasn't responded. Telstar, we hope everything's going your way. Stay safe, amigo.
