Isn't that just the cutest thing! Little PkrBoy posted a link to site that confirms HIS bias, but it's next to a column filled with headlines such as:

Married Gym Teacher Mom, 43, Pleads Guilty to Raping Boy

and

38 Year-old Married Mother Arrested for Sex With Boy, 14, ‘As Many as 15 Times’

Gosh, little PkrBoy, that sure is titillating, but I don't think it's the sort of thing you should be reading at your age. Are you touching yourself when you read this stuff?

Poor little PkrBoy, he's just so confused. Go to your room, little PkrBoy and no touching now, you hear? Be a good little PkrBoy.

Whenever I visit here, I look for your posts.

So I can get my stupid fix for the day.

It's a Harvard study. Attacking me doesn't change the facts... it just proves your willful ignorance.

Liberals are so very fake as people, so it is no surprise they love the fake news. Eating up the lies with as big a spoon that will fit in their big mouths.

Enjoy your fake ass news with your fake ass selves. Bunch of blow hards!

Personal opinions and propaganda is not news.

Here's a link to the actual study:

https://shorensteincenter.org/news-coverage-2016-presidential-primaries/

News Reporting of the 2016 Presidential Primaries: Horse Race Reporting Has Consequences

Here's an analysis from FRONTLINE:

Study: Election Coverage Skewed by "Journalistic Bias"

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/study-election-coverage-skewed-by-journalistic-bias/

"An analysis of news coverage from the 2016 primary races found that mainstream media outlets engaged in “journalistic bias” that led to over-coverage of the Donald Trump campaign and under-coverage of Democratic candidates, in particular Sen. Bernie Sanders.

The report, from Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, underscores the role that the press can play in anointing — or sinking — a candidate, as well as keeping voters under-informed by focusing only on the horse race instead of the candidates or relevant issues.

It also highlights how the press helped to elevate Trump while contributing to the downfall of rival candidates, and paid relatively little attention to the Democratic nominating contest.

For the report, a content analysis firm, Media Tenor, examined statements from CBS, Fox, the Los Angeles Times, NBC,The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

“Game-centered reporting has consequences,” the report said. “The media’s tendency to allocate coverage based on winning and losing affects voters’ decisions. The press’s attention to early winners, and its tendency to afford them more positive coverage than their competitors, is not designed to boost their chances, but that’s a predictable effect.”..."

[...]

11%
Only 11 percent of coverage focused on candidates’ policy positions, leadership abilities or personal and professional histories.

-- Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy

[...]

****************

So, the gist of the study is NOT that Trump received negative coverage, which came AFTER the primaries were over, but that the press focused more on the "horse race" and less on actual policy. The negative coverage of Trump came later, as journalists began to focus more on what he was saying (70% lies) and became more aware of his attacks on the press. These right-wing sites know their "readership" won't actually delve into the report itself and rely on the ignorance of that particular segment of the population.

I notice you're not denying the dimwit part. Ah, self-knowledge is such an ugly thing.

"Kiss my ass. Drooling fool!" How clever... for a dimwit.

Yep. As expected and duly noted - You're about as sharp as bowling ball. Carry on numb nuts.

What're you, nine or ten? Jeez, kid, grow up.

"Sharp as a bowling ball" is something from grade school. Or maybe high school in Texas.

There IS, in my opinion, media bias in the sense that many times a commentator on any of the networks will add a subtle or not so subtle brief "aside" sort of comment that lets you know what their opinion of the news is. This is reassuring for viewers who share like attitudes.

That being said I think it is fairly obvious that many right wingers have followed the president's lead in calling basic reality "fake news". This is not healthy. The president is obviously living in a world of his own making in many cases. He has, as they say "a casual relationship with the truth." It looks as if this mental condition is spreading among his followers. This is dangerous because in spite of what these folks would LIKE to believe there does exist a verifiable objective reality, which will shortly come back to bite the Trumpster. He will be facing several investigations into his political and financial activities. He should be coming up agains conflict of interest problems etc.

To me it just looks foolish to call basic reports of political news "fake news" with the hopes that it will just disappear. It will not disappear. The news as reported by the Washington Post, New York Times and other MSN outlets is real, as much as some of us would like to think otherwise.

I am just beginning to not have to cringe every time I hear the words: "President Trump" spoken. I cringe, but I do not call it fake news.

ZERO relevance.

I guess little Pkrboy hasn't really learned to read yet. He's just so silly. The grown-ups are talking about a serious subject and that upsets him. He wants to the center of attention. He doesn't realize how silly he sounds.

Poor little PkrBoy, will he ever grow up?

Should he be in special-ed classes?
