Good Morning... the nomination process has brought us four candidates to vie for administration of the forum:

Bob

Joani

Boards

Yella

I've proposed a q&a to last for a few days followed by an open primary to narrow the field down to two.

This thread is to make available the candidates for any and all questions relating to their vision for the forum. Using past events or future scenarios is good or simple questions and f/u questions... try to be specific to allow as little wiggle room as possible.

The answers are important... but so is the temperament. Try to keep an open mind and involve all of them.

As always... suggestions are welcome if this process can be improved upon.

Candidates... please quote the question to which you are responding.

I would like to list my qualifications.

1.  I drink

2.  I cuss

3.  I smoke

4.  I've had several misdemeanor convictions

Can any of my opponents match those qualifications? I don't think so.

I'll have to work on those.

By that I read that:

1) You are willing to diminish your own mental capacity to get in touch with the stupid.

2) You don't discriminate against words that may be socially unacceptable.

3) You are willing to cut your own life short so as to leave social benefits for others.

4) Your experience inside of the system gives you the qualifications to decide the fate of others.

I think we already have a frontrunner folks. (lol... I felt like seagoat trying to twist facts)

Hmmm.  In all candor,  I dunno if I can follow through on a campaign promise like that.

I do,  however,  pledge to throw anybody 64 or younger under the bus if it means protecting my medicare benefits.
I am as you know a member of the "worst generation evar" in the words of Sal.

Refreshing honesty......

Ok... I guess I'll start... Does it matter to you under what category/section people post in? And if so why?

Not really, I'm more interested in reading their opinion. Notice I said, "their opinion", not a long drawn out copy-paste.

Given Bob's vast life experiences, he will probably be a stickler for following the rules to a "T". Banning anyone that even thinks about crossing the section boundries. I would call that being an ass.

Teo and PeeDawg both tend to troll the forum when they aren't getting the attention they're seeking.

Specifically, by spamming the forum with numerous threads regarding indistinguishable topics.

I think Boards was seeking to mitigate that behavior.

That's a proper function of a moderator.

Yep, the atmosphere will be so much better now that Teo has been banned for posting political topics in the general section Rolling Eyes

I appreciate everyone's opinion... but we're really trying to get the candidate's positions.

I'm not saying don't do it like some kind of forum nazi... just keep it in mind.

Did Bob do it? It sounds more of a personal issue rather than just crossing section boundries.

Some posters can politicize anything posted.

He's been banned again? WTF?

Why does it matter where you post anything on this particular forum? I really want an answer. What the hell difference does it make?

Ok Bob, on your platform can we post anywhere? Even on the restroom walls in tom thumb?

How about you Joani?

BTW Bob a couple post's up I think there was a little mud thrown your way.

I don't give a shit where you post! A post is more important.

Mud thrown my way.....I threw some at Bob. I wanted to make it feel like a real campaign. I do love Bob.

If not a long drawn out copy and paste, how do you feel about a link?

I do think those are outstanding qualifications. Just the conviction's alone tells me you have what it takes to be a fair politician.

A link is good. That way it is my choice to click or not.

On my Pad....I can copy a link or context, not both.

That's good. Do you have any conviction's we can count? Or at least something you did in catholic school that the nuns beat the shit out of you?

Ok I have the same questions for yella and boards? Any convictions? Ever done anything wrong in your life you could have been convicted for? Links ok? have you ever written your own phone number on anyone's restroom walls for personal gain? Or written Chrissy's or Dreams number on a wall for their personal gain?

Yes to both! Most important personal conviction.....a sense of humor.

On edit, I have not been arrested.....Remember I'm crafty and never got caught by the cops.....the nuns on the other hand were another story.
