Here is what we do know.

Under the law, Comey is required to immediately inform the Department of Justice of any attempt to obstruct justice by any person, even the President of the United States.  Failure to do so would result in criminal charges against Comey.  (18 USC 4 and 28 USC 1361)  He would also, upon sufficient proof, lose his license to practice law.

So, if Comey believed Trump attempted to obstruct justice, did he comply with the law by reporting it to the DOJ?  If not, it calls into question whether the events occurred as the Times reported it.

Interesting.

Then why hasn't he been charged? The President is a Republican, the Justice Department is part of the Executive branch. Charging Comey with a crime would be to Trump's advantage. So why hasn't he been charged?

Oh, I know:

OBAMA! HILLARY! OBAMA! HILLARY! OBAMA! HILLARY!

You stupid shit, you can't even keep your dumbbell conspiracies straight.

He's not required to report it if he doesn't think it's obstruction which apparently he didn't. Expressing a wish is not obstruction. As I said when Trump fired him over it then it became obstruction. Trump didn't try to stop the investigation until he fired Comey.

It was obstruction until you realized that Comey is under the gun now too.

Ever heard of an investigation? That's what real politicians do instead of allowing peoplle like you to spin out of control.

One of Trump's bitches will flip, then it's buh-bye Donald, buh-bye House, buh-bye Senate, buh-bye Republicans for twenty years.

You know, it's getting pretty late and your posts aren't making a lot of sense. Are you hitting the bottle or mixing pills and booze or something?

It's okay, it's what tragically lonely and stupid people do late at night. Try to get some help, though, okay? We'd hate to see you o.d. yourself by accident.

Sorta.
