It's too bad you feel that way, Teo, because I agree with you in other ways. I think you and Pkr and a lot of others have completely "misunderestimated" the President. I have a lot of respect for him, but there are people who will never under any circumstances give him credit for anything, and that's just sad because we need to come together in this country; otherwise, it's just an endless ping pong game, with very little getting accomplished. You and I both know that Bush was a disaster, and you also know that our country was in shambles when he left office...in just about every way possible. So Obama really had his work cut out for him...plus I believe some of his advisers (like Summers and Geithner) had their own agendas. I also think it was a mistake not prosecuting Bush...who will eventually reap what he sowed. But this constant unspecific criticism serves no purpose except to deepen the political divide. How about some positive input for a change? Specifically, what would you do to turn things around? Please don't say "drown the government in a bathtub"...
