When Trump said he would bomb the chit out of ISIS, he did not fully understand that in cities and close quarters innocent civilians are dying in mass from our bombs. The horror of watching a child my granddaughter's age having half of her foot blown off and crying that the pain was unbearable. These images are not being shown on American news. There is a total blackout of the horrors we are bestowing on innocents. This idea of a war on terrorism is a complete lie....it is the biggest lie facing America today. We are pimping MIC and the arms industry killing innocents, and our politicians are beating their chest about how tough they are. It is insanity. If every American could see that little girl's pain and not be repulsed at what we have become, maybe we could start to fix America.

I have been unable to get the image of that child out of my mind for a solid week. How can we with such callous disregard continue this nation on the path of militarism where once generals in the civil war with honor and courage led their troops into battle with an incredibly high mortality rate for officers. Today a person can push a button in Maryland and take a little girl's foot off, and then go out to lunch at Dennys. There will be a price to pay for our moral choices.

All that angst... unless it's the leftists pushing the button... of course.

The U.S. dropped an average of 72 bombs every day — the equivalent of three an hour — in 2016, according to an analysis of American strikes around the world.

The report from the Council of Foreign Relations comes as Barack Obama finishes up his presidency — one that began with promises to withdraw from international conflicts.

According to the New York City-based think tank, 26,171 bombs were dropped on Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan during the year.

CFR warned that its estimates were "undoubtedly low, considering reliable data is only available for airstrikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and Libya, and a single 'strike,' according to the Pentagon's definition, can involve multiple bombs or munitions."

If you do an image search for kids in Syria (and I don't really advise this, because you can never un-see them), you can find even more horrific things -- kids with pieces of their heads missing, etc. It's nightmarish.

That's what these refugees are trying to escape. And Trump wants to lock them out. I don't think as many people would cheer for him if they really got a good look at what they're supporting.
