My favorite player on the tour. He won his first major at the John Deere and has been loyal to the tournament. We used to play the course two weeks after the pros and it was really fun to play the holes you just watched on TV. I have never been to Scotland, but my golfer friends regularly go over and play the courses of the British open, and all say the weather is so critical. Some have had miserable trips and honestly even when I was healthy could never see going to play golf in miserable conditions. The pros just are up against weather conditions which change in a matter of hours meaning some by the luck of the tee time draw can be totally screwed.
